QualityQs Workout Scouting Report

He was leader of the group, always going first and showing the others in line how it's done. He showed off some superb footwork, strong arm and ability to throw on the run, across his body and from any arm slot. The Western Michigan commit showed multiple times how accurate he can be when off balance or on the run. He was the other leader, always being a great example to those behind him. He displayed some of the best overall mechanics of the Qs in attendance. I was really impressed with his accuracy on the run and the overall way he moved. He passes the eye test at a legitimate 6'4, and looked well built. He moved extremely well when stepping up, side stepping and throwing on the run. He resets his feet quickly and has a nice throwing motion. He pushes the ball downfield with ease and with nice touch. I loved what I saw from him tonight as he was looking comfortable throwing on the run, throwing off platform and moving around in the pocket. His strong arm and ability to be accurate showed up multiple times throughout the session. I really was impressed with how well he moved in the pocket and rolling out. He was nice and accurate and had no issues hitting receivers on the deep ball. He worked hard all night, applied any coaching and displayed a really live arm, good fundamentals and technique. He excelled on the run and being accurate when he had to throw rushed or off balance. I noticed a few different times that he was able to keep the velocity on the ball from multiple different platforms. I liked the touch on his deep balls, and I liked the quick trigger I saw from Alex. He's another one that passed the eye test with a good frame and good height. I noticed right away how powerful he was. His throws seemed to have some extra zip, and it was nearly effortless to push the ball deep. I really liked the way he moved in the scramble drills and how he snapped around to set his feet and throw. He probably raised his stock the most of anyone in my eyes. He proved early and often that he absolutely belonged with all 7 of the older guys! He had a lot more zip on the ball than I even expected, and I was absolutely loving how comfortable he was throwing on the run and moving around while keeping his eyes on his target. I was really impressed at his footwork looked compared to the other guys. His footwork looked super good, and I loved the way he could quickly reset and fire a ball with a quick trigger.
