Geno Seets is the definition of a gamer. A true Swiss Army knife for this team, Geno was effective at QB, WR and DB for this team. At QB, he was incredibly elusive. At his size, it’s impressive to see the way he extends plays, improvises and scrambles. At wideout, he had a couple of really nice grabs that are far beyond what most full-time receivers can manage. Defensively, he was able to play up in the box and be physical, or cover a huge zone and really make life difficult on the offense trying to throw the ball downfield. Even Dow coaches on the sidelines had a couple of “Oh wow” moments as Seets pulled another rabbit out of the hat. Phenomenal performance for the Central Michigan commit.

Seets really impressed me with everything he did. He passes the eye test at a legitimate 6’4, and looked well built. He moved extremely well when stepping up, side stepping and throwing on the run. He resets his feet quickly and has a nice throwing motion. He pushes the ball downfield with ease and with nice touch. I know he’s an elite athlete who plays some WR and DB, but he really has a special talent at the QB spot, that was clear to see.

Geno is a legitimate All-State candidate and someone who I fully expect to take a massive step up this season. Last season, Geno performed great as a receiver and Safety. At receiver, Geno served as an onside receiver who excelled at making contested catches. He also had a few great moments of contact balance, route-running, and of course, had excellent hands. At safety, Geno was able to jump a few routes, force several turnovers, and he defended the run quite well. All in all, Geno was a star player on both sides of the ball, but not quite elite. This season, that could all change. Now at Quarterback, Geno gets to showcase a different set of skills. From what I saw earlier in the offseason, Geno is a very talented passer. Several Division 1 schools seems to believe in Geno, and I’m highly anticipating his first full season at QB. Geno is set up very well to fill the QB1 position while leading Mott to a Lakes Valley title.

Geno earns a pretty big boost after a re-evaluation. Especially over these past few months, Geno has earned several D1 offers. Geno is on track for an absolutely phenomenal season at Waterford Mott. With a graduating QB, Geno is put right in place at QB. In addition Geno has phenomenal size and has already shown great stuff as a receiver. This season, Geno will be able to showcase his full range of playmaking abilities. I’m interested to see how good of a passer Geno is, but regardless, I’m very confident in his running abilities. Big boost for Geno, and I’m looking forward to his 2024 season.

Geno is a big and physical receiver who is really raising his stock. He is a matchup nightmare at 6’4, and he really hurts teams deep and in the red zone. He runs good routes, and can get up field in a hurry to get behind the defense. He has an incredibly large catch radius, and he displays really good body control to bring down some difficult jump balls. I really like the way he can catch some really difficult passes as he will sprawl out, go up between defenders, snag it 1 handed. Any way to get the ball secured, he can do it. I could see a lot of people taking notice this offseason and into the fall, drawing in some big time offers.

Geno Sheets Geno Sheets 6'4" | 200 lbs | ATH Waterford Mott | 2026 State MI took off this past season as a Wide Receiver/Safety, and I see that he’s listed to get some reps at Quarterback at the Legacy Midwest Showcase. As a receiver, Geno is able to use his size and long limbs to pull in a lot of difficult catches downfield. He’s mainly utilized as a deep threat but has a few promising highlights as an open-field runner. He was also a super instinctual and rangy safety, responding quickly to the pass and defending the run very well.rnThe more I look at Geno’s tape, the more I think his recruitment could take off in the near future. I really look forward to seeing him tomorrow at Legacy!
