NGRC Sophomore/Freshman Classic: Offensive Standouts

He was real smooth running the ball Sunday and had limited carries but finished with 4 carries for 75 yards with the shortest run being 7 yards. The 6'1 175 athlete impressed us back in the Spring All Star game with his physicality at the DB spot and he transitioned that over to the offensive side in this game. Admittingly he was running for his life most of the afternoon but made some good throws downfield under pressure. A tall pocket presence at 6'3 200 and has enough speed to make defense pay with his feet. Good natural frame and a hard worker off the field. Looks good off the bus at 6'2 190 and possesses the speed and physicality to eventually develop into one of the top 2027 recruits in the State. Good hands at the receiver spot and the physicality and speed to develop into a good safety prospect. We have him as the #122 overall recruit in the class, a position that is sure to rise as he develops. Good presence in the pocket, tall with a long thin frame. He does a good job of keeping his eyes downfield and made some accurate throws on the run. He has the arm strength to make throws to all areas of the field. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Outlook:</strong> Cross passed for over 1700 yards this season for Collins Hill as a varsity starter. Athletically he has all the tools to develop into a next level prospect. A physical kid that runs hard behind his pads, his competitiveness shows on the field. He averaged over 8 ypc on 4 tries and scored a couple of TDs. Was outstanding inside the 10 yard line running between the tackles.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Outlook:</strong> Adams got a few carries at the Varsity level in '24 and is waiting his turn on a very talented West Forsyth backfield. Strong kid in the weight room and has produced at each level he has played. A natural athlete that is comfortable dropping back in the pocket or on the move. He made a nice 17 yd TD throw with a couple of DL chasing him to the sideline. He added 2 carries for 20 yards with a TD with his legs.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Outlook:</strong> Tisdale steadily saw his stock rise during the 2024 season.
