It's never too early to look ahead to the 2025 season, right?

Today, we're taking a look at six quarterbacks, most of whom are set up nicely to make their first varsity start. I fully expect 2025 to be all of these QBs' breakout seasons!

Brady is the likely starter for Hudsonville, who is coming off of a State Championship appearance.

I actually got to watch Brady yesterday at the West Michigan Drive 7on7 tryout. In a 7on7 setting, Brady looked excellent. He has a huge harm, quick release, and knows how to read a defense. Most importantly, he's an excellent all-around athlete. He came to the tryout straight from Basketball practice, and I also know he works with Westside QBs in the offseason.

I've now seen Brady twice in low-stakes offseason settings. In those scenarios, Brady looks like he could be an all-state QB. Seriously, he's got consistent mechanics, a big arm, and above-average accuracy.

Look out for Brady this offseason, and watch him lead Hudsonville to another successful season in 2025!

Ford did start for Marquette this past season, but I think 2025 could be a true breakout year for him.

When I watched Ford in his matchup against Lowell, I was impressed with his poise and accuracy in the pocket. As long as his feet were set, Ford was able to make quick reads and toss perfect passes to all areas of the field. Once he was forced outside of the pocket, Ford struggled a lot more.

The reason why I'm including Ford in this article is because of his upside. If Ford is able to make steady, consistent improvements throughout this offseason, he could be an all-region player next season. Look for Ford to be a potential late-bloomer D3 Quarterback prospect.

Kendall is perhaps the most anticipated new starter for 2025.

There are obviously big shoes to fill, but I'm confident that Kendall will take the pressure in stride. He's been consistently working on his craft for a few years now, already with plenty of valuable off-season competition experience. On top of that, Kendall is a true dual threat, which is obviously something that most colleges prefer in this day and age.

There's a very good possibility that Belleville will get to Ford Field in 2025, with Kendall leading the way. I feel like some may count Belleville out because of their graduating seniors, but I feel like they're here to stay.

From what I know, David earned a ton of Varsity reps this season. Though, when I watched him in his playoff game against Mason, he came off the bench.

Regardless, David is a great pro-style QB who will more than likely be the full-season starter in 2025.

The most promising thing about David is his consistency. I mean that both in-game and during the off-season. When he's in a camp setting, David displays consistent mechanics- good footwork and smooth throwing motion. His accuracy is very good as well, but his throw power could use a bit of work.

In-game, David is a solid pocket passer. He hits his target, as long as his feet are set. David needs to improve when playing off-schedule, but at the very least, David is good at keeping the ball out of harm's way. I'm confident that he'll lead Walled Lake Western deep into the 2025 postseason.

I'm expecting a HUGE jump in production from Alex next season.

This season, Alex played as well as you could ever ask, considering the circumstances- being thrust into the starting role after QB1 transferred unexpectedly. Having watched Alex during week 1, I can say that he's an extremely competitive and hard-working player who just made it work despite his flaws.

Although he had a lot to work on, all I saw from Alex this season was improvement. Steady, consistent improvement throughout the season. On top of that, he works with who I think is Michigan's best Quarterback trainer, Joe Boisture.
Another offseason working with Coach Boisture, I think Alex will take off next season. I truly, truly think that all signs point toward a breakout Junior season for Alex.

I have no idea if Grayson will start for De La Salle in 2025, but I will say, whenever that day comes, the whole state will be on notice.

Grayson has been a great quarterback since his middle school days. Just turn on the tape. Grayson's quick release, throw on the run, and deep ball accuracy are extremely promising.

My only question is if Grayson can read a varsity defense. I see a ton of deep balls on film, which is great, but not a ton of short-intermediate reads. As long as Grayson can combine his obvious talent with decent knowledge of reading defenses, he'll be a breakout Sophomore starter for a State-Championship contender.
