No week 1 jitters for the Hudsonville QB.
Kicking off the week 1 tape is a quick, on-time throw to the middle of the field seam. Second, a nice 12-yard toss to the flat, resulting in a TD. Third, an on-time throw to his receiver sitting in zone coverage, and fourth, some great play extension and a bucket drop to his reciever, right over the safety’s head.
A ton to be optimistic about. On a few occasions, I’ve heard Coach Sandee gush about Brady’s confidence and readiness as QB1. No smoke and mirrors here- Brady looks like the real deal after this week 1 performance.

I feel pretty confident that Brady will receive some recruiting attention, even though he wasn’t the starter this past season.
This season further proved Brady’s athleticism- he’s a good receiver, a good route runner, and could even play college football as a WR. In the offseason, he proves to have a great arm & above-average processing. I’m super confident that Brady will continue to perform well in the offseason, but the question is if his game will translate well on Friday Nights next season.

Brady is the likely starter for Hudsonville, who is coming off of a State Championship appearance.
I actually got to watch Brady yesterday at the West Michigan Drive 7on7 tryout. In a 7on7 setting, Brady looked excellent. He has a huge harm, quick release, and knows how to read a defense. Most importantly, he’s an excellent all-around athlete. He came to the tryout straight from Basketball practice, and I also know he works with Westside QBs in the offseason.
I’ve now seen Brady twice in low-stakes offseason settings. In those scenarios, Brady looks like he could be an all-state QB. Seriously, he’s got consistent mechanics, a big arm, and above-average accuracy.
Look out for Brady this offseason, and watch him lead Hudsonville to another successful season in 2025!

- Seems to be starting at Receiver right now
- Excited to see Brady potentially get open-field touches
- If in at QB, I know the arm is excellent, but how good is the processing?
- Regardless of position, I will have an eye on Brady

Brady is someone I’ve talked about quite a bit, but I couldn’t resist adding him to this article. Although I have a small sample size, from what I’ve seen from Brady, I think he could turn into a Division 2 prospect this season. For one, his arm talent is great. Brady sports a quick release, and he’s able to push the ball downfield with seemingly little effort. In addition, his mechanics are better than most. The one big question mark is how consistent Brady will be this season. I have little doubt that Brady will have several extremely bright moments this Fall. My biggest question is- can Brady consistently perform at his best, even against the best defenses in the OK-Red? I’ve seen Brady struggle a tad with accuracy, and Brady will need to make great decisions while remaining accurate in big moments. I know he’s got the talent, I know Hudsonville has the talent, and I hope Brady is able to play at his best this season!

Unranked –> #101
I’ve written about Brady multiple times over the past couple months. In short, he’s a very talented QB who has been receiving a lot of off-season training. The ball seems to explode out of his hand and can be highly accurate. In addition, he’s fundamentally polished. Now, his accuracy can be a bit inconsistent, and playing on Friday Nights is a lot different than an offseason training session. Brady could be a good GLIAC QB, if he lives up to my expectations.

I had the opportunity to watch Brady at the beginning of this month at a Westside QBs training session. It didn’t take long for me to know that he was the most talented QB in attendance. With a quick release, Brady consistently showcased some of the best fundamentals and throw power at camp. His accuracy was a tad inconsistent, but he was honestly the best in that category, too. It’s too early for me to say what kind of prospect he’ll be this time next year- this coming season will tell the full story. Regardless of next season, Brady is obviously a great Quarterback talent who has all the tools to succeed this fall.
