I have said it before, but I feel like David is largely underrated. He stands in the pocket calmly, doesn’t get happy feet and delivers accurate strikes to nearly any part of the field. He has a mobile side to him, as he can get out and extend plays and still keep his eyes downfield. His accuracy stays pretty solid when throwing on the move, with good velocity and a tight spiral. Super excited to see Krall put it all together this fall!

I have watched a number of David’s games and highlights this offseason, so I definitely feel like I have him pretty well scouted, and I think he may still be underrated. He has so many examples of him standing tall in the pocket and delivering some absolute strikes. When he gets out and moves, he’s just as solid. He keeps his eyes downfield and is able to still rip it to his target. I really love what Krall can do, and I believe he will be on a mission to show off his skillset all year long.

From what I know, David earned a ton of Varsity reps this season. Though, when I watched him in his playoff game against Mason, he came off the bench.
Regardless, David is a great pro-style QB who will more than likely be the full-season starter in 2025.
The most promising thing about David is his consistency. I mean that both in-game and during the off-season. When he’s in a camp setting, David displays consistent mechanics- good footwork and smooth throwing motion. His accuracy is very good as well, but his throw power could use a bit of work.
In-game, David is a solid pocket passer. He hits his target, as long as his feet are set. David needs to improve when playing off-schedule, but at the very least, David is good at keeping the ball out of harm’s way. I’m confident that he’ll lead Walled Lake Western deep into the 2025 postseason.

David was in at QB for about half of this game after QB1 went down with what looked like a concussion.
I actually watched all of the QBs warm-up during pregame. Without initially knowing who was who, I thought David was the best pre-game passer. There, I liked his footwork and overall accuracy. More consistent than the rest.
In-game, David was a bit more inconsistent. Like a lot of QBs, David’s mechanics took a step back, and in turn, his accuracy decreased as well. A few missed throws from David really turned the momentum in Mason’s favor. Still, I think David is a super-talented QB who will likely take a massive step forward next season.

David has found massive success as QB1 for Walled Lake Western. As I’m writing this, Walled Lake Western is about to face off against Avondale in the District Championship.
David’s tape shows why he’s been so successful with WLW. We know that WLW is a very successful program, and David seems to be making his team even better.
His tape shows off his decent arm, good throw power, and overall great running of the offense. Having seen David once last offseason, I know he’s able to make just about any throw with a clean pocket. Only up from here, and I’d currently project David as a GLIAC prospect.
