Milton is a promising RB/OLB/DB, headlined by his athletic ability.
Last season, Milton showed flashes on Varisty. Watch 0:47- the DT wins in the B gap, and Milton smartly cuts into the C gap, and earns a few yards. At 0:57, Milton does a solid job following his blocks. All in all, it’s a short highlight tape, and a little hard to get a decent evaluation. Though I can say confidently that Milton can showcase his burst a bit more. I’d love to see Milton accellerate quicker, and be more deicsive with the holes he hits.
Milton has also been working hard so far this offseason. Running with Rising Stars, he’s done well at workouts/camps. I’m especially intrigued by his work as a receiver; his route running looks way more advanced than most 2029 RBs.
I do expect Milton to develop into a great college prospect. He’s got the athletic traits.
The RB I got the most looks at. Regarding size, Milton has a great frame. A few years in the weight room, and Milton has a chance to be an excellent 3-down back.
Of course, this was a camp, so I got a good look at Milton’s receiving abilities. Milton could legitimately play slot in a crunch. I liked his change of direction, had good footwork with little wasted movement at the top of his routes, and had decent hands. Absolutely the best running back at camp, and a top-tier route runner.
Milton is more of a hybrid running back that can easily transition to an inside receiver, slot type. He has great hips, foot speed, and catches the ball really well. He’s built to take on punishment or make people miss in space. Brown is solid in all facets of the game and will be a great addition to anyones offense at the next level.
