The kid is a dynamic athlete who can do a ton of things on both sides of the ball. I saw him play in the PIAA State Title Game. Even though his team lost badly to Steelton-Highspire Sieg's talent was undeniable. He has good athleticism and speed. On offense, he plays as a quarterback, and then on defense, he projects as a safety. At the college level, he projects as someone who will play as a safety. He has been getting a ton of interest from many Division 1 programs and recently visited Wisconsin. He also shows a good big-play ability. He does a good job after the catch. He will catch a short pass and make defenders miss for big play. He can score anytime he touches the ball. He scores on big plays constantly. He is excellent at punt returns by making players miss, getting into the open field, and using his speed to run past defenders. Then, as a defender, he shows good skills as an outside linebacker/strong safety. He is an excellent tackler and does a nice job in coverage. He has a motor that never stops as he chases plays all over the field. At tight end, he does a good job blocking on the edge. Barbisch is a good athlete who does a good job on both sides of the ball. Then, when he gets in the open field, he just explodes past defenders. As a passer, he has a good arm, but he is still developing as a thrower. As a defensive back, he shows good coverage skills and he is able to make tackles in the open field. He is like a tailback-playing quarterback. He knows how to make defenders miss and has great vision. Throwing the ball he does an excellent job of finding open receivers and delivering a catchable ball. At safety, he is a killer. He is all over the field making plays for Leechburg. He does an excellent job coming upfield to make tackles, but also dropping back in coverage.
