Henry Barbisch is a talented player at tight end and defensive end and is already committed to football at Air Force. At defensive end, he is a good player off the edge. He does a great job of using his hands and ripping through offensive linemen. He has a motor that never stops as he chases plays all over the field. At tight end, he does a good job blocking on the edge. Barbisch is a good athlete who does a good job on both sides of the ball. He has a chance to be a good player for Air Force.

It’s been a busy month for Pennsylvania’s #8 DL prospect in the 2025 class. His recruitment continues to take off as he now has 12 offers.
In the past month, he has picked up offers from Dartmouth, Monmouth, Lafayette, and New Hampshire. In February he received offers from Cornell and Bowling Green.
At the beginning of the year, Barbisch took a trip to Morgantown to visit West Virginia.

Barbisch is another FBS prospect who has at least one offer under his belt. I had the pleasure of watching Barbisch up close, and he definitely moved like a D1 athlete overall. Henry has prototypical size and is a top-notch blocking TE. His strength will be an asset on the D1 level, in general. His mobility will be useful on special teams collegiately as well. On defense, he’s got a good motor and changes directions well in run pursuit. He flashes impressive maneuverability as a pass catcher of his size. He utilizes leverage as a run blocker by playing shorter than his 6’4” frame. I’m excited to watch him as a weapon in the middle of the field this season. He’s a big-framed prospect that could make a difference in the passing game. Barbisch and Taylor will spell trouble for opposing offenses this year when they pass rush. He’s got one FBS offer from Miami, OH, but various schools are paying attention to him presently.

A candidate to blow up in terms of offers, sooner rather than later. A build coaches drool over. 6’4, 228, said weight can fluctuate up or down depending on how Bishop Canevin wants to utilize his skillset. Can keep him lean and slim, building on his speed repertoire as an EDGE rusher. This would go hand in hand with any work done at the TE position. Keeping this kid athletic also keeps him more valuable to the team, I’d imagine. I wrote up more on his game a couple weeks back, very interested in seeing if any Power Five programs pull the trigger before the season, or possibly after the first three games of the season. I’d imagine West Virginia and BC have him on their radar/board. I do see the work he’s put in as a pass-catcher this off-season. We know how valuable EDGE rushing prospects are to the important decision-makers, yet Barbisch expanding on his game is always a welcomed sight. Moving him to TE would make him the top-ranked prospect at that position.

Henry Barbisch did not have his sophomore season tape on Hudl prior to the time we ranked 2025s in Pennsylvania. Another update went by with Barbisch, someone who I’ve wanted to place on our ranks since his Freshman year, ultimately landing on WL again. A couple days after our 2025 update, Barbisch blessed us with his 2022 Fall tape, a tape that is going to thrust him into the top 100 on our ranks, that’s being modest, too. The TE/DE prospect showed off his prowess on both sides of the ball, working as an impact blocker in-line with the tackle, or at EDGE/OLB where he could set the edge in run support or chase after quarterbacks. The build should draw in eyeballs, especially in camp settings. His tape should see the deal, at least in terms of adding the young man to collegiate boards of interest across the North East. Miami of Ohio and Marshall have already extended offers to the young man out of Bishop Canevin. I’m fond of many out of that program.

Henry is a top-notch blocking TE with prototypical size and strength that will be an asset on the D1 level. He’s good on special teams showing good speed and agility for his size. On defense, he’s got a decent motor and redirects well in pursuit. He showed impressive maneuverability on his TD catch on film. His run blocking is effective because of his low pad level, leverage, and raw power that’s generated. He’s a weapon in the middle of the field, a big-framed prospect that could make a difference in the passing game. He’s got one FBS offer from Miami, OH, and multiple schools are showing interest in him.
