. Against Bishop Canevin, Sieg broke the all-time record for combined passing and rushing yards and did it in vintage fashion, taking his first touch of the night to the house. What makes Sieg special is his ability to dominate at multiple spots. He’s an electric playmaker at quarterback, capable of changing games with both his arm and his legs, but it might not even be his best position. On defense, he’s just as impactful at safety, flying downhill to deliver punishing hits and showing range to erase plays to the boundary. Sieg is simply a pure football player instinctive, physical, and competitive. He’s the kind of prospect you start building relationships with now, because he’s only going to keep getting better.

is one of the best athletes in the state of Pennsylvania, and he is already committed to Penn State. He is a dynamic athlete who projects as a safety for Penn State. He plays all over the field for Fort Cherry, but mostly as a quarterback on offense. He is a dynamic runner who can also throw the ball at a high level. As a safety, he is a heat-seeking missile, making tackles and plays all over the field. Sieg is a difference maker, and Penn State is getting a good player.

is one of the best prospects in the 2026 class. The kid is a dynamic athlete who can do a ton of things on both sides of the ball. I saw him play in the PIAA State Title Game. Even though his team lost badly to Steelton-Highspire Sieg’s talent was undeniable. He has good athleticism and speed. On offense, he plays as a quarterback, and then on defense, he projects as a safety. At the college level, he projects as someone who will play as a safety. He has been getting a ton of interest from many Division 1 programs and recently visited Wisconsin. Sieg and Fort Cherry have a good chance to win the WPIAL again this year.

out of Fort Cherry is a guy already gaining the attention of multiple Division 1 programs. To name a couple of his offers Penn State, West Virginia, Syracuse, Pitt, Nebraska. The 6’0/175 lb ATH has one of my favorite highlight tapes to watch. This kid is the definition of versatile. Playing QB, Safety, and returning kicks for Fort Cherry. His Sophomore year tape is 20 minutes long. I guess that’s what it comes out to when you put up over 4,000 all-purpose yards, and 60 touchdowns in a season. Matt has some wheels with his reported 4.42 40-yard dash. He was the first player in WPIAL history to run and throw for over 1,00 yards in a single season. Sieg has a good arm and can make solid throws, but I’m excited to see where he ends up playing at the next level. He’s an intriguing prospect that coaches need to know about if they don’t already.

is one of the best players in the the 2026 class. He didnt’t have his best passing game, but the Fort Cherry team was over matched from the start. Sieg showed good athelticsm as Fort Cherry ran him several times in the quaterback run game. Sieg also played safety and made several plays from that position as well. On one play in particular a Steelton player broke away and looked like they were going to score and Sieg chased him down to prevent a touchdown. Sieg a Penn State recruit showed his athleticism in the losing effort.

Sieg is by far the most dynamic out of this crew of underclassmen. The sophomore prospect has FBS Power Five offers from Penn State, West Virginia, Nebraska, Pitt, and Syracuse. The 6’0, 170-pound athlete runs a 4.4 40-yard dash and is as quick as he is fast. He’s a dual-threat QB that can score from anywhere on the field. He’s the more dangerous option on zone reads out of him and the RB. He runs with balance, explosion, vision, and elusiveness. On defense, he showcases a sharp football IQ on the backend. He has next-level DB footwork and mechanics. His ball skills and the ability to score once he intercepts the ball are elite. Sieg has showcased a variety of special team skills in ‘23, including kick returning.
