It's the month of October and that means it's time for a prospect ranking update! Throughout this month, we have been updating each class ranking and following up those updates with in-depth breakdowns on a ton of prospects in each class. Two weeks ago, we kicked things off with the 2028 Watchlist. Last week, we continued our updates with the 2027 class, featuring the Top 75 Sophomores In Oklahoma. This week, it's time to take a look at the state's 2026 class. The latest ranking update now features the Top 150 Juniors In Oklahoma. In this breakdown, we're taking a look at the trenches with the offensive and defensive line. Both position groups feature guys within the top ten of the recent ranking update but there is a growing depth at the top with a few of these guys knocking on the door of climbing higher and higher.

Stillwater defensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='467410' first='Nehemiah' last='Kolone'] continues to hover around the top ten overall rankings and comes in at #15 overall this time around. Kolone had his breakout moment last season and this came after having a lot of potential during his freshman season. He didn't get much time on the varsity level as a freshman but we were high on him based on what we saw. And now that he's had that breakout moment on varsity, he's never looked back. He's missed some time this season but when he's been on the field, he's incredibly tough to slow down coming off the edge. He has power, speed and a deep skill set to consistently beat his opponent in one on one situations. His recruitment is starting to really take off.

Ada offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='591882' first='Dawson' last='Matthews'] is in a similar boat to Kolone at Stillwater where both are knocking on the door of being top ten overall guys. Matthews has been a pretty consistent force for Ada on the line of scrimmage and what's impressive is he's been able to do that since his freshman season. Even as a freshman, Matthews was competing at a very high level and having success against some really talented defensive linemen. In the last 12 months, Matthews has seen his recruitment really start to take off and it shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Look for Matthews to have a very busy offseason coming up as he continues to grow and improve from a physical standpoint and on the field.

Owasso offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='587268' first='Brooks' last='Barron'] has been a name in this class that we've liked since he was a freshman. This offseason, he moved from Booker T Washington up to Owasso and he's been another forceful blocker for an Owasso offensive line that might be the best unit in the state. For Barron, this move has opened the door to playing on the interior of the offensive line as Owasso has two three-year starters at both tackle positions. And in the past, we've really liked his potential as a next level guy at guard or even center. Barron and the Rams have been outstanding this season, emerging as the new team to beat in the state's largest class. He has a lot of momentum right now and this could be a big offseason coming up.

The Norman Tigers have been one of the bigger surprises in Class 6A-1 football this season. The Norman offense has been absolutely dominant and the tone for this unit is being set on the line of scrimmage. And that tone starts with offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='858872' first='Julius' last='Stephens'] and he's once again one of the better guys at his position in this latest update. Stephens is an absolute monster on the line of scrimmage and the first thing that stands out is his size. He's listed at 6'7 and he looks the part from a physical standpoint. Stephens has been starting for the Tigers since his freshman season and has been on our radar for a little over a year now. It seems like only a matter of time before his recruitment starts to take off.

Southmoore defensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1179993' first='Nakwaine' last='Carter'] is a defensive prospect that we think has a lot of potential moving forward. He's not the biggest guy at his position but he's a guy that has a lot of tools in the belt to beat opponents time after time. We might have mentioned this in the past but Carter also benefits from being coached by a guy in Christian Littlehead who has the reputation for being one of the best defensive line trainers in the state. Working with him on a daily basis is definitely going to only make Carter better moving forward. Compared to some of the other guys on this breakdown, we haven't seen Carter in person as much but from what we have seen, we're incredibly impressed.

Edmond Santa Fe defensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='284115' first='Jae'Lin' last='Battle'] is still a 2026 prospect that we really like but he's been plagued with nagging injuries over the last several months. Battle has all the potential to be one of the better guys at his position but he's still looking to have that breakout moment when the lights are brightest in the fall. What Battle brings to the table when he's healthy is a grown man's game where he has size, speed and power to disrupt things coming off the edge. The ceiling is incredibly high for him moving forward as long as he can avoid those nagging injuries. Battle is an absolute force when he's 100 percent and this could end up being a very busy and positive offseason for him.
