Senior offensive lineman Julius Stephens Julius Stephens 6'6" | OL Norman | 2026 State OK is the other D1 commit on the Norman roster after he committed to Stephen F Austin earlier this offseason. Stephens is about to go into his fourth season as a starter for the Tigers. He started as a freshman, got our attention following that freshman season and has been on the radar as one of the better 2026 OL prospects ever since. We’ve talked a lot about Norman’s offense and how they will look different this season and how they have to find a new identity. But it all starts up front on the line of scrimmage. Stephens can help pave the way for the running game as well as protect whoever ends up winning the starting quarterback position.

Norman offensive lineman Julius Stephens Julius Stephens 6'6" | OL Norman | 2026 State OK is another prospect on this breakdown that we’ve known about for a few years now. When Stephens suits up for the Tigers this fall, he’s going to be a four-year starter at the Class 6A-1 level and he’s at least 6’6 with good size and moves. So having said that, we have no idea why he’s not gotten more attention from colleges at this point because he checks a lot of the boxes and he should certainly be higher on a lot of lists when it comes to offensive linemen in this region. But whether you see him in person or you throw on the tape, you find another player that is incredibly consistent and finds a way to help his team be better. And the 2024 season was a perfect example of that as Norman was one of the top surprise teams in the state.

The Norman Tigers have been one of the bigger surprises in Class 6A-1 football this season. The Norman offense has been absolutely dominant and the tone for this unit is being set on the line of scrimmage. And that tone starts with offensive lineman Julius Stephens Julius Stephens 6'6" | OL Norman | 2026 State OK and he’s once again one of the better guys at his position in this latest update. Stephens is an absolute monster on the line of scrimmage and the first thing that stands out is his size. He’s listed at 6’7 and he looks the part from a physical standpoint. Stephens has been starting for the Tigers since his freshman season and has been on our radar for a little over a year now. It seems like only a matter of time before his recruitment starts to take off.

We like what Norman brings back on the offensive side of the ball but it starts on the line of scrimmage. Junior offensive lineman Julius Stephens Julius Stephens 6'6" | OL Norman | 2026 State OK returns for his third season as a starter on the Norman offensive line. He’s been starting since his freshman season and he’s one of the more underrated offensive lineman prospects in the state’s 2026 class. He checks all the boxes from a physical standpoint because he has the size to play at the next level. He’s done it at the highest level against 6A-1 competition and yet he’s still flying under the radar. But this season, he could be the anchor of an explosive Norman offense and that will get more eyeballs on him.

Norman offensive lineman Julius Stephens Julius Stephens 6'6" | OL Norman | 2026 State OK is right there with some of the other top guys in this class in terms of experience. Stephens broke out as a freshman and earned playing time two seasons ago. He built on that momentum last season and he will be a three-year starter for the Tigers this fall. Stephens has the frame to be a very strong tackle prospect for the next level. We’ve only seen him a limited amount in person but the film is good and you can’t argue with his size and experience. For a freshman to play at the 6A-1 level, you have to be a special talent. Stephens is going to be a name to watch this season and 6A-1 has quite a few offensive linemen to keep an eye on.

We almost didn’t know anything about Norman offensive lineman Julius Stephens Julius Stephens 6'6" | OL Norman | 2026 State OK until we recently got the info on Norman’s upcoming football team from their coaching staff. It listed all of their expected top players for this fall and we noticed Stephens started the majority of his freshman season and is already standing around 6’5. We pulled up the film from his freshman season and we watched a big man that can move off the line and get to his destination in a hurry and with bad intentions. We didn’t know about Stephens two weeks ago and now we’re convinced that he’s an offensive lineman that might be the best kept secret in the state’s 2026 class. He’s on the rise in a big way and we’re looking forward to seeing what he can do this season. Stephens has a high ceiling based on his freshman film and size.
