2027 Tug Valley QB [player_tooltip player_id='1154693' first='Preston' last='May'] was nothing short of dominant from the quarterback position for the Panthers in their opening round win over Tolsia. May fired 6 touchdowns passes in the 48-8 victory and threw for over 300 yards as Tug Valley makes a statement in the first round. He's building on his successful freshman campaign from a year ago and has taken a step forward both developmentally and physically which was his biggest need as a young player. May rounded out our initial 2027 Top 60 rankings during the summer and is showing why he's highly though of by us again this season.

2025 Nitro quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='865701' first='Josh' last='Moody'] continued his senior season tear against Shady Spring in the Wildcats' first playoff win since 2007. moody tossed 2 touchdown passes and added a third on the ground in the 41-7 win over the Tigers. The senior completed 22/32 passes for 324 yards and is approaching 3,500 passing yards and 40 touchdowns this season. More D2 programs need to get involved in his recruitment as our top quarterback prospect in the 2025 class with production and film to back it up.

2025 Martinsburg QB/ATH [player_tooltip player_id='865706' first='Koi' last='Fagan'] is on the shortlist for the Kennedy Award this season and continued to show why in the Bulldogs' 77-7 romping of Parkersburg in Round One. In one half of play, Fagain completed 6/8 passes for 187 yards and showcased his legs rushing for 60 yards and two scores for an efficient night at the office. He's been quite likely the most dynamic player this season

2026 Princeton Quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1011963' first='Chance' last='Barker'] wasn't needed all that much in the Tigers' round one win over Hampshire in a lopsided game but he was very efficient. The junior gunslinger completed 8/11 passes for 202 yards and 3 touchdowns in the 63-9 victory. Barker is up to 2,300 passing yards and 34 touchdowns through 11 games this year as our #1 QB prospect in the 2026 class.

[player_tooltip player_id='370479' first='Dane' last='Hatfield'] was doing [player_tooltip player_id='370479' first='Dane' last='Hatfield'] things in Herbert Hoover's 49-7 opening playoff win over Elkins. Hatfield threw for 342 yards and scored on the ground as he's done all season with 1,600 rushing yards heading into the game. He's been a mainstay at Herbert Hoover since his freshman year and although unclear what his future plans are for college, Hatfield is a plus athlete who could play a number of positions at the next level if he wishes to.

2027 Wheeling Park QB [player_tooltip player_id='658279' first='Jay' last='Bordas'] started out the Patriots' playoff run with a quick but efficient bang in their 43-0 win over Musselman. The sophomore attempted just 6 passes in the game and misfired on only one but those 6 passes accumulated 216 yards and three touchdowns in the victory. Bordas is backing up our #3 quarterback in the 2027 class claim this season passing for 1,600 yards and 16 touchdowns through 11 games this season. We're looking forward to seeing film of his season on Hudl in time but are confident that he'll remain at the top of the 2027 QB rankings by his senior year as he continues to development and gain experience at the varsity level.

Senior quarterback and long-time starter [player_tooltip player_id='832676' first='Noah' last='Collins'] may not have finished his high school career the way he wanted to on the scoreboard, but the gunslinger went out the way he knows best. Collins tossed three touchdowns and threw for 264 yards in the tough 24-17 loss to Philip Barbour. Collins and the Panthers' spread offense attempted 42 passes in the narrow defeat as he finishes his senior year with 3,386 yards and 44 touchdowns as one of the top passers in West Virginia again this season statistically. His recruitment remains quiet and is a must-offer for D2 programs in the state with more room to continue growing as a quarterback.

Statistically, 2025 Hurricane QB/ATH [player_tooltip player_id='487103' first='Noah' last='Vellaithambi'] had his worst game of the season, but stats don't tell the full story in the Redskins' gutty 14-13 victory over George Washington in the first round of the playoffs. The senior quarterback is having an overall tremendous season but hurt his ankle against Martinsburg in the regular season finale which is still hampering his play. Playing at probably 50% or less, Vellaithambi struggled to step into his throws during the game due to his injury and couldn't take off to run as he typically does. However, when his team needed him most, he rose to the occasion on the final drive of the game down 13-7 with two minutes to go and needing 98 yards to get the win. Vellaithambi showed guts and the "It" factor on the final drive ending with a strike to classmate [player_tooltip player_id='908107' first='Shalik' last='Hampton'] on the right sideline of the endzone on 4th and long on the final play of the game for the comeback win.
