<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Wow, what a game this was. The #7 seeded Fairview upset Mountain Vista 49-45. Fairview WR/SS [player_tooltip player_id='777474' first='Toray' last='Davis'] sealed the victory with an interception late in the 4th.  There were some interesting circumstances regarding this game. At halftime, the stadium's power went out, delaying the game by an hour. The game ended up getting moved from Halftime Help Stadium in Highlands Ranch, to Echo Park in Parker. 2 hours after halftime started, the game resumed. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This game was exactly what I predicted. A high scoring game between two high powered offenses. There was a ton of back and forth. Mountain Vista was down 13-0 to start, then ended up going on a 14-0 run to make it 14-13. Each offense would bully its way down the field. However, each defense bended but didn't break, with the Golden Eagles' defense getting 1 turnover compared to the Knights 3 turnovers. It was an exciting performance by both sides, and must-see film for any college scouts looking to bolster their roster. Now, let's dive into the analysis of some players.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As a reminder, we have the Stock Up Showcase coming up in December. I will be in attendance, and I'm very excited to see of these prospects live! Use my code TATEPRZ2024 at check out! Hope to see some of you there!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["777474"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-674664c6e16f2"} --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Davis's impact was imprinted all throughout this game. The WR/SS had 2 receptions for 31 yards, 10 carries for 43 yards, 1/1 64 yards passing, 1 passing TD, 11 total tackles (8 solo, 3 assisted), 2 interceptions including the game winning one. Toray used his very good athletic ability to prowl around the field. He has very good acceleration, speed, and good change of direction. As an offensive player, he showed his very good separation quickness. As a rusher, he used his good vision to choose the correct holes. As a defender, he shined. Davis was all over the field consistently making tackles. He used his very good tackling skills to wrap up the ball carrier stopping them in their tracks. He has very good zone coverage, using his good reactionary skills to identify the situation. Davis has very good strength. He'll lay the boom on unsuspecting receivers, or throw running backs down with ease. He showed his ball hawking abilities. Used his very good ball tracking in tandem with very good catching to pluck the ball out of the air getting the pick. I am beyond impressed with his performance. Great job!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["232153"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-674664c6e1763"} --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Modrzewski balled out for his high school finale. The senior went 25/34 for 303 yards, 5 touchdowns, 2 INT, 6 carries for 63 yards and 1 touchdown. His very good athletic ability was on full display. He has very good speed, acceleration, combined with good change of direction. Modrzewski even made a defensive lineman miss with a juke move. Modrzewski used his very good throw power to find open receivers all night long. He has elite ball placement, throwing the ball where it needs to be depending on the situation. Austyn's accuracy was showcased throughout. Under pressure, he went through his progressions finding the open man. If no one was open, he'd use his legs to gain the first down. There were a couple of plays that really stood out to me. On 4th and 6th, down 13-0, Modrzewski completed a side arm through to his wide receiver for the first down. Another example included a botched snap/fumble, Austyn stayed poised and found [player_tooltip player_id='232161' first='Jakhai' last='Mack'] for a big gain. Modrzewski broke tons of CHSAA records this season and cemented his name as the top quarterback in Colorado as he bows out to the South Dakota Coyotes next fall.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["232179"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-674664c6e17c2"} --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Another dual position stud to add to Fairview's list. The LB/TE hybrid Vhad 4 receptions for 77 yards and 1 touchdown, 2 carries for 10 yards, 14 total tackles (8 solo, 6 assisted), 1 FF, 1 FR. Ryder has good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, jumping, good speed, and change of direction. He has very good mental processing too. On the defensive side, he will watch where the ball is always. On the offensive side, he identifies the void in the zone, exploiting it leading to a touchdown. As a linebacker, he uses his good sideline to sideline speed to track down defenders. Villarreal is a very good tackler. He wraps up the ball carrier and uses his very good strength to pull them down. He's a good run stopper, stopping the ball carrier in their tracks. When he lined up on offense, a lot of times he would slip undercover with the defense not accounting for him. Villarreal has good catching. After the catch, he'll lower his shoulder pad, trucking through the defender. He even got some crucial blocks for breakout runs. This game showcased Ryder's impacts on both sides of the ball, and versatile senior DESERVES some extra looks from colleges.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["1406063"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-674664c6e1817"} --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Blais blazed through Fairview's defense all night. The senior running back had 16 carries for 134 yards and 1 touchdown. Through the air, he had 6 receptions for 68 yards and 2 touchdowns. Blais has elite athletic ability due to elite acceleration, change of direction, and very good speed. Very good strength, looked like a bowling ball out there. Blais was an angry runner out there. He used his very good vision to identify which hole to run through. He'd burst through the hole, using dynamic cuts to make defenders miss. Blais puts his foot into the ground and goes. For example, he juked out a defender, ended up wide open running in for the touchdown. When defenders would start to tackle, he'd use his powerful legs to drive forward. He keeps fighting after contact. Blais was a trusty receiver all night long. He'd go up and make the catch, plucking it out of the air. Blais even got dirty with blocking, creating a hole for the wideout. He's a fantastic prospect who can compete at the next level, any college would be lucky to have him.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["230322"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-674664c6e185c"} --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Rechel balled out. The senior had 12 carries for 117 yards, and 2 touchdowns on the ground. Through the air, he had 4 receptions for 147 yards and 1 touchdown. 6 total tackles, (4 solo, 2 assisted) 1 pass deflection. Rechel has very good athletic ability due to elite acceleration, very good speed, change of direction, and good jumping. Rechel was lining up in the backfield all night. He demonstrated his very good vision to choose the correct hole. He was met with a plethora of defenders, and had to use his very powerful legs to churn forward, dragging them with him. As a receiver, he used his good release to beat defenders during press and off coverage. Rechel has very good separation quickness due to his athletic ability and play strength. He'll outrun the defender or fight through contact during the route. He has very good ball tracking skills. Rechel goes out and attacks the ball. He'll pluck it and secure the catch with his suction hands. After the catch, he uses his home run speed to blaze past the defense. He has a very good spin move and juke move to make defenders miss. Rechel had an elite performance, balling out at each level. I'm very excited to see how he does in the final 4. Kid is a gamebreaker, and colleges NEED to look his way.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["232168"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-674664c6e18a0"} --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">When you look at Daniels' tape, a common phrase you'll say is he consistently all over the field. That was no different against Fairview. Agent 0 had 12 total tackles (7 solo, 5 assisted), 1 TFL, and 2 QB hurries.  Daniels has very good athletic ability due to elite acceleration, very good speed, change of direction, and very good strength. Used his athletic ability to prowl the field. Daniels has very good competitive toughness, and this game was another example. He'd keep helping his teammates finish tackles, and continued to play through the whistle. Using his very good mental processing, he watched the quarterback's eyes and always followed where the ball went. Daniels would identify which gap to rush through, stuffing the run. He was plugging gaps all night long. Carter is a very good run stopper, and an elite tackler. He wraps up the ball carrier and throws/pulls them to the ground. I've been impressed with Daniels' performances week in and week out. He has committed to CSU-Pueblo, and they are getting a fantastic player.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
