Combs is a young, big-framed quarterback who is quickly excelling and growing on the field. His ability to see the entire field without an issue helps, but he also knows how to get the ball to where it needs to be and when it needs to be there. Friday was a good example of this because he was on target, found his open reads, and got the ball out quickly. Combs went 22 of 26 for 250 yards and 2 TDs on the night as South got the win.

Indianapolis Lutheran continues to roll as it bulldozed a fairly good Lapel team Friday 35-0. Shrum was as efficient as possible and only missed a few throws. He's grown a lot this year. You can see the game has slowed down quite a bit physically and mentally for him. He's got good accuracy and can loft it up and over the shoulder downfield. It doesn't get much better than going 13 of 17 for 201 yards and 3 TDs as you claim Regionals.

Westfield turned to King in the backfield on Friday and he came through in a big way. Not only did they use him as a workhorse back, but he did carried the ball 33 times and rushed for over 200 yards. He's a violent runner who can and will run through a defender. He's got the speed to break big runs and it seems to catch defenses off guard. He broke a long of 50-yards in the game and scored once as he helped Westfield beat Fishers.

Krehl continues to help the Knights dominate on the ground as they move on to Regionals. This group that East Noble has right now is special and they're led by Krehl and what he does on the ground. It's not just the big plays in the running game, it's the effort he puts into blocking, the high-motor they all have for each other, and they feed off of one another. Krehl gets better as the game goes on and they start to wear down the defense across from them. Krehl's 131 rushing yards and 2 TDs led the game.

Andrean quietly pulls out studs left and right and they may have another in McCoy. The freshman just put on a show Friday against Lafayette Central and this is all just the beginning. He's a shifty back with good speed, vision, footwork, and patience all wrapped up into 1 package. he's got a good frame and can handle the big workload as well. His 176 yards and 3 TDs on the ground all led the game as he scored all of Andrean's touchdowns.

The dual-threat QB just put up one of his best games of the year as Providence moves onto Regionals. Kempf was in on all 4 of Milan's TDs on Friday as he threw for 2 and ran for 2. He had a little under 200 yards on the ground as well and he totaled for well over 300 total yards. Defenses underestimate his speed and that's what cost Milan on Friday. Kempf even busted a 97-yard TD run on the night and you can't get much better than that.
