Indianapolis Lutheran continues to roll as it bulldozed a fairly good Lapel team Friday 35-0. Shrum was as efficient as possible and only missed a few throws. He’s grown a lot this year. You can see the game has slowed down quite a bit physically and mentally for him. He’s got good accuracy and can loft it up and over the shoulder downfield. It doesn’t get much better than going 13 of 17 for 201 yards and 3 TDs as you claim Regionals.

Marginal arm but team managed him well and wanted him to gain confidence, so more film/experience needed to evaluate; played well in his first varsity start with the starter out with a broken hand. Made few mistakes. Accurate in the short-intermediate game, showed good touch on deep ball over MOF. Showed poise under duress, never got rattled. Has a clean release and throws a nice, catchable ball. Still has a lot to learn and plenty of room to grow. Name to know on the college camp circuit.
