Kempf and Providence are on an impressive roll as they’ve improved each year with Kempf under Center. 8-4, 12-1, and 13-0. Friday night, Kempf accounted for 4 TDs. 3 on the ground and 1 through the air. While he didn’t throw much, he threw a TD pass and then dominated on the ground. He’s got good vision and it allows him to slice up and down the field. His 150 yards and 3 TDs on the ground helped propel Providence 35-30.

The dual-threat QB just put up one of his best games of the year as Providence moves onto Regionals. Kempf was in on all 4 of Milan’s TDs on Friday as he threw for 2 and ran for 2. He had a little under 200 yards on the ground as well and he totaled for well over 300 total yards. Defenses underestimate his speed and that’s what cost Milan on Friday. Kempf even busted a 97-yard TD run on the night and you can’t get much better than that.
