Greenfield Central Scrimmage: Top Players Who Caught My Attention

All four teams featured plenty of prospects on the field, and we were on-hand for the event. Two brothers both play college football. Dad is big and strong, so staff thinks it's odd he's so thin. Has a chance to be a really good edge prospect at the second level with his height, size, and frame if he keeps getting bigger, faster, stronger. Flashes good twitch and first-step quickness, solid v. the run, can hold the point/edge and wrap up. Good instincts and quick to read-react. Class of 2029 wideout has very good hands and high-points the ball. Displays great body adjustment, snagged a touchdown, wins one-on-one battles v. tight coverage. The good news is they have upside, and Class of 2029 running back/cornerback [player_tooltip player_id='2252977' first='Zadontis' last='Williams'] is one of them. Had a couple of pass breakups during the 7v7 period and showed he can time the ball well with his hands for breakups, cover and carry deep fades. Can play both ways but is primarily going to be at tailback, where he flashes good change-of-direction and burst through the hole. Has good length for a receiver and caught mostly everything thrown his way. Big target over the middle of the field who can use his wide catch radius to haul in passes. More of a linear route runner, show he can change direction and get in/out of his breaks quicker. Tall 6-foot-3 wideout who had 293 yards receiving last season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
