He can dip his shoulder and turn the corner as well as anybody, and takes great angles to the ball. Watch for his recruiting to blow up this spring.

Malik Campbell Malik Campbell Malik Campbell 6'4" | 180 lbs | EDGE/TE Decatur Central | 2028 State IN has a chance to be one of the best Class of 2028 prospects in Indiana.  Campbell has great first-step quickness, strong edge speed and his 6-foot-4, 210-pound frame will likely get bigger and stronger in the years ahead.   His height, size, arm length and speed are all top-shelf qualities.  Plays with good bend and a very high motor.  I would expect him to have a breakout junior season.

Campbell is a 6’4″ edge who’s already checking a lot of boxes as a freshman. He’s long, fast, and plays with violent hands that give tackles problems from the snap. He gets off the ball well and can bend coming off the edge, which is rare for someone his size this early. He’s got the closing speed to finish plays and doesn’t let up once he’s in the backfield. His older brothers were highly regarded prospects, but Malik might have the highest ceiling of them all. With his frame, burst, and early feel for the position, he’s got the tools to develop into a serious problem up front.
