Now that midseason tape has gone public and we have a larger sample size of a prospect's offseason gains and on-field ability in this new prep football season, it's time to start examining some of the big questions on everyone's minds. Who is next up to get their first D1 offer? How about their first P4 offer? And just how good is this 2026 class? Well, lucky for you, PrepRedzoneMN continues to be your comprehensive source for all things Minnesota high school football and recruiting, and after a close evaluation of some 2026 and 2027 Minnesotans midseason and updated film, stats, and measurables, we're excited to name the "Next Up" Minnesotan 2026 and 2027s on FBS Offer Watch. While we were constructing this feature, [player_tooltip player_id='1522278' first='Jayden' last='Moore'] from Hopkins - who was on this list - earned a Golden Gophers offer prior to their big-time upset of USC - and these names are looking to follow up with some more recruiting momentum. Should be a good offseason for these boys from the Land of 10K Lakes.

It shouldn't come as much of a surprise that Holy Angels' gargantuan OT Dalton DeBoer is having his name mentioned in a 2026 recruiting-related article. DeBoer is in a different classification than his counterparts on this list, who mostly are without their first offer, as he has both an FBS and a P4/P5 offer. Dallas' own SMU offered an ACC scholarship in August, and Kent State reached out with an FBS offer out of the MAC during the spring. However, he is still without a B1G offer or an offer from a regionally-based competitor, so I decided to add him to this feature, as his stock is rising from his 2024 play. A lot is working for DeBoer as a collegiate OT prospect. First off, he's massive. 6'6 and over 330 pounds, DeBoer is a good athlete who most recently posted a 4.86 shuttle and 8' broad jump at the UWRF Mega Camp back in June, as well as a nearly 6'10 wingspan and some massive 10" mitts. He's tested well at every exposure point we've seen him at, especially for his size, and is a good athlete with a frame ready-made for the upper echelons of college football. He's also a good hooper who plays with Martin Bros on the AAU circuit.

I got to see DeBoer live and in person during Week 1 of the 2024 season, as his Stars took on Minneapolis North in what was a great game, where he had a great showing and was looking impressively mobile, nimble, and balanced throughout a ton of reps of him pulling, lead blocking, and getting out into space. He passed the eye test and checked some more boxes that night in north Minneapolis, and his junior tape is filled with him man-handling opponents and blocking/moving in space like a tackle 50 pounds lighter. There's a rep around 30 seconds into his junior tape that is particularly impressive, where the massive LT wraps back across the LOS, looming large past the play-side CB who lets him roll right past him, and then DeBoer tears downfield chasing the QB, showing some great top-end space, fluidity, and mobility at his size. He can adjust his body and start/stop well in space to corral third-level defenders, and once he engages with a defender he runs his feet and has them going backward like a weighted sled. Plus, DeBoer can change direction, combo, slide, and flip his hips well in pass pro, and has the strength to dominate at the point of attack and overwhelm his opponents physically. However, DeBoer took some licks and didn't have the best performance at the Gopher's padded prospect camp this summer, but was named MVP of the OL group at the Wisconsin Badgers prospect camp, didn't get beat in a 1v1 at the UWRF Mega Camp, and had good showings at Notre Dame and Georgia as well. He's right on the cusp of a good string of offers coming his way. DeBoer has visited Minnesota, Michigan State, and Notre Dame so far this fall, and you can bet your butt more visits are going to happen the rest of the CFB season. You simply do not find kids at his size who are this mobile and athletic very often. Offers are coming.

Perhaps the biggest stock-riser out of the 2026 class besides [player_tooltip player_id='1522278' first='Jayden' last='Moore'], Jackson County Central has another big-time prospect on their hands in their massive LT [player_tooltip player_id='1255125' first='Weston' last='Rowe']. Reportedly 6'7, 275 lbs., Rowe is also a good hooper and has been putting out some good junior tape so far this season, which, when you combine it with his correlating visits to Iowa State (x2), Kansas State, Minnesota, Iowa, and South Dakota State, means good things for his potential at becoming a P4 offered OT. The big thing with Rowe is there is still a lot of unknowns regarding his athletic profile. I think he hoops all summer, so as far as I know he didn't attend a prospect camp this summer, and he's yet to make it to a PrepRedzoneMN Showcase, so by all accounts there just isn't a lot of data out there, and available on him yet. The multi-sport background and functionality help, but in this day and age, it's important to get in front of coaches and verify athleticism, so this is a bit different a scenario in this modern recruiting age.

His acceleration, change of direction ability, and massive frame are all on great display in the first rep of his junior midseason tape, as he pulls from his LT spot back around the LOS, sticks his cleat in the ground and gets vertical with pace, and crushes a helpless LB waiting in the hole. His strength is obvious in simple down blocks, and he's got the quickness and foot speed to successfully hit reach blocks to cut off DEs and OLBs out on the edge of the LOS. I also like how he works to the second level, and his body control and functional movement skills look really good for a kid of his reported size. I think his stock is going to continue to climb and an offer is nearing. Keep your eyes on JCC the rest of the fall, for a variety of reasons.

I hope you're not sick of hearing about Moorhead and their sophomore sensation [player_tooltip player_id='1194605' first='Jett' last='Feeney'], because he isn't going anywhere. Minnesota is at its peak in terms of QB talent from the last decade+, and Feeney is looking like a front-runner in the 2027 class for an offer, not just when talking QBs. Six games into the season, Feeney has posted 119 completions on 159 attempts (75%) for 1,801 yards and 32 TDs to only 2 INTs. That's 11.3 yards an attempt and 300.2 yards a game, and all combine for one of the best stat lines I've seen from a QB this far into the season, much less a sophomore, and not just from Minnesota.

The completion percentage, TD-to-INT ratio, and his ability to win (6-0 in 2024 so far, 11-5 record as a starter), and amount of reps he has already in his career really get me excited and bullish about his future as a prospect and eventual college QB. The midseason film looks great as well, as Feeney is doing a ton of impressive things at a mature, consistent, high-level rate, both with his arm, legs, and between the ears. Consistent, smooth, concise mechanics, noticeable zip on his throws, and can fit the ball into tight windows and with torque at the prep level, even off his back foot. I like his head movement, as you can see him go through his reads and make quick, smart decisions with the football, and he's accurate to all three levels of the field. Feeney owns a quick, snappy release, can navigate the pocket, and extends plays smoothly and effectively with his feet. Throws a good ball on the move as well, leads receivers open, and shows good timing on throws all around the field. Watching the tape, it looks like Feeney is a smooth, controlled, calm, and steadfast presence and operator, and he's making decisions and throws like a signal-caller much older and experienced. It's a video game, almost mechanic-like efficiency on tape, which is so far from common when watching prep QBs. This kid looks like the real deal, and with the Arms Race that is the modern QB recruiting timelines, he could get an offer sooner rather than later. Enjoy the QB talent while we have it, folks!

Despite an already top-tier ranking, Lakeville South's 2026 TE [player_tooltip player_id='924222' first='Henry' last='Hauge'] should see another bump in the upcoming 2026 official rankings update, as he's added weight, speed, strength, and nastiness since his sophomore season and the tape looks good upon first, second, and third viewings. It's also exciting to see the hometown Gophers have been all over the talented TE since he camped in Dinkytown in June. He took an unofficial to the U in late July, and a gameday last weekend for the crazy upset of USC. This has come with a lot of recruiting graphics in between, and Hauge has also visited NDSU during his junior season. His athletic numbers are also strong, as he's a verified 6'4, 240, and has tested as a 4.8-4.9 40, 8'+ broad, and 4.5-4.8 shuttle kid at multiple exposure points, including our own PRzMN event. Now in his second year starting varsity on one of Minnesota's best Big School teams in one of its most talented areas, Hauge is really starting to dominate the competition.

I'll give him credit, early in Hauge's career I remember mentioning that a move to OL may be in his future, but he's really added a pass-catching element to his game, which can be credited to a dedicated 7v7 career. Reliable hands, good burst, solid route runner, knows when to cut off his routes when his QB is extending plays. Hauge is fluid, strong, runs like a deer, and is a terror at the second and third level when erasing defenders in the run game. Great balance and body control, Hauge also displays good pop in his hands, consistently runs his feet after contact, and will bully DBs and LBs once he gets a good hold on them. He is a tough, 6'4, 240 lb. mismatch for defenses to adjust to, and can easily handle DL, LBs, and DBs alike. The functional athleticism, verified size & athleticism, and effectiveness as a blocker, coming out of a state and region that respects the run game, makes me think he's got some big offers in his future. Yet another big-time prospect out of Lakeville!

Another well-known name in the Minnesota recruiting scene, Buffalo's standout 2026 DE [player_tooltip player_id='445957' first='Hans' last='Pederson'] is really starting to put it all together as a junior. He's already been a verified top-tier athlete for his size, coming in at a verified 6'4, 250+ with a lot more room to grow. He runs near a 5.0 40, can hit a shuttle in the 4.6-4.8 range, and is nearing a 9' broad jump. Also a multi-time PrepRedzoneMN Showcase Top Performer, Pederson has been on college radars for a while, and Central Michigan and North Dakota State have already offered Pederson before his upperclassman campaign began. Good showings in the summer camp circuit have led to a ton of fall visits to the likes of Wisconsin, KState, Notre Dame, Michigan State, Michigan, and Minnesota, and more visits, as well as potential offers, are on the horizon.

I was most impressed by his play speed and motor at 6'4, 250. He has good plays of him running down QBs from the backside of a play or LOS, as well as hawking down loose RBs 15-20 yards downfield, and he uses brute force, as well as intentional strips and punches, to occasionally knock the ball loose as well. Pederson is quick off the ball, strong through contact, and can lean and get skinny through gaps along the LOS while holding an OL at bay and running down RBs and QBs alike. He uses his hands well and can win 1v1s and take advantage of blockers when they get off-balance or on their heels, shows some bend at the top of the arc and can run the hoop, and has reps of him man-handling defenders as a TE. Pederson has stepped it up a notch in the physicality department and has posted 25 tackles, 6 TFLs, and 2 forced fumbles through 6 games of 2024, according to MNFootballHub. Really want to see that sack number come up soon, but the tape looks good and big, athletic kids with already three years of starting experience on varsity don't grow on trees. Only a matter of time with the Buffalo standout 2026.

One of my darlings of the 2026 class, Edina's standout junior defensive tackle [player_tooltip player_id='924336' first='Sawyer' last='Jezierski'] had one of the best personal performances I've seen from a Minnesotan during the 2024 season during Edina's beatdown of Eden Prairie early in September. Big-bodied, athletic 3Ts and defensive tackles are one of the most coveted, and hard-to-find, and although Jezierski has unverified size, he passes the eye test in the multiple exposure points I've seen on him, and he had solid testing numbers from the summer camp circuit as well. The best time to see Jezierski is absolutely padded up and under the bright lights of a Friday, and eventually Saturday, night. The brighter the spotlight, the better Jezierski plays, and in a giant game against Eden Prairie, Jezierski played like a madman and was all over the field as a constant presence and disruptor against a good Eden Prairie interior OL.

The tape is some of the most fun and impressive I've seen in the 2026 class of MN so far. He displays an impressive get-off and first step, lead in his hands, and active, quick, hand usage, and is a crushing tackler and thrives in the contact-heavy trenches of Minnesota Big School football. His ability to win in 1v1 situations, both in run and pass rushing spots, stands out on tape as well. Jezierski displays a nasty arm-over and strong chop/rip and is also effective and sometimes dominant with bull rushes and power moves, so much so that he has knocked OL back into their own RBs. Plus, he's laterally agile and shows some impressive twitch for a DT of his size, as well as good pad level and a strong base and eats and fights through contact well. He's also instinctive and has a nonstop motor between the whistles, and has a good rep of him retracing and running down a screen from the Eden Prairie game. The body control, combination of power and twitch, physicality, and overall film looks like a FBS-worthy DT. North Dakota and Iowa State have both gotten gameday visits out of Jezierski, but I have to say that I do think he's still under-the-radar and his junior tape isn't making the rounds like it should. Hopefully, this helps!

Arguably the biggest winner out of the 2027 class in Minnesota from this season, Moorhead's sophomore class just gets better and better, and there's now a third superstar 2027 Spud hitting the recruiting scene hard. WR [player_tooltip player_id='1629849' first='David' last='Mack'] seems like another continuation of Minnesota's top-tier tradition of football/basketball multi-sport studs, running with the elite Howard Pulley EYBL team in AAU basketball and reporting a 4.03 shuttle, and judging from the 2024 sophomore film, I don't think he's lying. Mack's sophomore tape really pops, and he's got some serious talent, as well as some serious production, for a young buck this early into his career. Through six games, Mack has posted 37 catches for 553 yards and 11 TDs, with an explosive 14.9 YPC and 92 YPG average in one of Minnesota's best passing attacks. The smoothness, twitch, fluidity, and on-field athleticism look like that of a budding top-tier, P4 WR, and the route running and quickness/twitch are eye-popping as well, and can be backed up by the basketball background.

Mack looks about as P4-worthy of a sophomore WR as it gets, and his tape is a very fun watch for those who love explosive plays and yards after the catch. He shows impressive releases at the LOS, quick hips, smooth breaks, and suddenness at the top of the route, as well as strong hands that can reel in receptions away from his body. Mack owns elite balance and twitch, which, when combined with great vision and burst, is dangerous and effective in space, and he displays real-deal YAC ability and can make defenders miss and look silly with consistent ease. His top-end speed can take the top off the defense anytime he goes vertical, and he accelerates out of his breaks and can start/stop with noticeable effectiveness. Plus, he cuts his routes off well and doesn't round things out, and can high-point the football and win 50/50 balls through contact and tight coverage. This kid is about as impressive of a sophomore WR I've ever seen in Minnesota. Get on the bandwagon early.

Another TE and potentially high-profile prospect in the 2026 class, Rogers' own Josewski was a big hit and top performer at the summer's PJ Fleck Golden Gopher prospect camp, solidifying himself as a name to watch in the state's upper-echelon recruiting talks. Verified size at 6'4 and 230+, Josewski has posted noteworthy athletic numbers at every exposure point we've had on him, including our own PrepRedzoneMN Showcase, and did a good job of asserting himself and bringing some muscle to the high-intensity, padded, 1v1 battles that went down against high-level competition that day in Dinkytown. Big kid, athletic, and the junior film is checking boxes as well.

Josewski is a significant, reliable, asset in the passing game and has some skills as a route runner and after the catch, and must be accounted for by defensive secondaries at all times. He can flex out wide or do damage from the traditional inline TE spot, and demonstrates a big catch radius and soft hands. He breaks his routes off cleanly and shows some shake at the top of the route for 240 lbs., and is a big, long ball carrier who is a handful for would-be tacklers and will run behind his pads and pick up extra yardage after contact. As all TEs should, Josewski can finish tough catches through contact and tight coverage, as well as slip-through tackle attempts after the catch. I really like the added dimension he brings as a pass catcher to his recruiting resume, and he's a big, verified athlete, so I think Josewski has a bright future ahead of him on the recruiting trail. Northern Illinois and Minnesota seem to agree and have gotten him on campus so far this fall. More recruiting attention coming!

Verified athleticism and has a great frame and some real-deal speed. Posted an eye-popping 6'10 high jump this past outdoor track season, contextualizing his profile with nearly elite explosiveness and track numbers. However, him playing QB really muddies the water in terms of where does he play at the next level and how does that film fit into the equation, but he's a heckuva athlete, no ifs, ands, or buts.

[player_tooltip player_id='591981' first='Braden' last='Minta'] (Eden Prairie) TE. 6'5, 225 lbs. - Good versatility for his size, has some juice as a pass catcher and can make people miss after the catch. Good pad level and shows some strength in the run game as a blocker against XL opponents, like the size and mobility too. Still think he heads to the OL in college. Good frame and is a lean 225ish with a ton of room to put on weight.

[player_tooltip player_id='923835' first='Aidan' last='Boche'] (Park of Cottage Grove) LB. 6'4, 205 lbs. - Film looks good. Making plays, sideline to sideline pursuer, long, rangy, and instinctive. Sniffing out screens, pursuing and running down opponents to the sideline and far downfield. Legit 6'4 and runs well. Love the frame and potential projection to college. Just want him to continue to work on his speed and strength.
