A two-sport athlete who is a mammoth of a prospect, DeBoer is a fearsome sight lined up in the trenches who has been on an FCS offer-getting tear recently. The big OT is a mauler, and once he gets his mitts into a defensive lineman, they get put on skates. One of DeBoer’s traits that impresses me the most is his agility. Very rarely do you get a 300+ lb prospect who is able to get to the second level routinely and disrupt linebackers. Very few tackles of his stature can pull successfully and block smaller, more agile defenders in open space, but this is a feat that DeBoer manages to accomplish repeatedly. He’s an extremely effective run-blocker who boasts an FBS frame. He’s an RB’s dream to run behind.

It shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that Holy Angels’ gargantuan OT Dalton DeBoer is having his name mentioned in a 2026 recruiting-related article. DeBoer is in a different classification than his counterparts on this list, who mostly are without their first offer, as he has both an FBS and a P4/P5 offer. Dallas’ own SMU offered an ACC scholarship in August, and Kent State reached out with an FBS offer out of the MAC during the spring. However, he is still without a B1G offer or an offer from a regionally-based competitor, so I decided to add him to this feature, as his stock is rising from his 2024 play. A lot is working for DeBoer as a collegiate OT prospect. First off, he’s massive. 6’6 and over 330 pounds, DeBoer is a good athlete who most recently posted a 4.86 shuttle and 8′ broad jump at the UWRF Mega Camp back in June, as well as a nearly 6’10 wingspan and some massive 10″ mitts. He’s tested well at every exposure point we’ve seen him at, especially for his size, and is a good athlete with a frame ready-made for the upper echelons of college football. He’s also a good hooper who plays with Martin Bros on the AAU circuit.
I got to see DeBoer live and in person during Week 1 of the 2024 season, as his Stars took on Minneapolis North in what was a great game, where he had a great showing and was looking impressively mobile, nimble, and balanced throughout a ton of reps of him pulling, lead blocking, and getting out into space. He passed the eye test and checked some more boxes that night in north Minneapolis, and his junior tape is filled with him man-handling opponents and blocking/moving in space like a tackle 50 pounds lighter. There’s a rep around 30 seconds into his junior tape that is particularly impressive, where the massive LT wraps back across the LOS, looming large past the play-side CB who lets him roll right past him, and then DeBoer tears downfield chasing the QB, showing some great top-end space, fluidity, and mobility at his size. He can adjust his body and start/stop well in space to corral third-level defenders, and once he engages with a defender he runs his feet and has them going backward like a weighted sled. Plus, DeBoer can change direction, combo, slide, and flip his hips well in pass pro, and has the strength to dominate at the point of attack and overwhelm his opponents physically. However, DeBoer took some licks and didn’t have the best performance at the Gopher’s padded prospect camp this summer, but was named MVP of the OL group at the Wisconsin Badgers prospect camp, didn’t get beat in a 1v1 at the UWRF Mega Camp, and had good showings at Notre Dame and Georgia as well. He’s right on the cusp of a good string of offers coming his way. DeBoer has visited Minnesota, Michigan State, and Notre Dame so far this fall, and you can bet your butt more visits are going to happen the rest of the CFB season. You simply do not find kids at his size who are this mobile and athletic very often. Offers are coming.

. The 6’6″ 330 lbs incoming junior was one of the biggest athletes in attendance, yet he still broad jumped 8′, and ran an impressive 4.87 pro agility. I love to use the term dancing bear for OL when I can, and Dalton is the epitome of that image. He is absolutely massive, but he is so swift and light on his feet, allowing him to change direction in those combine drills and also while in his pass set mirroring pass rushers. On top of those light feet are the cement hands to shut down athletes trying to win with power over him. Dalton is a top name to know coming out of MN.

(Holy Angels) OT. – Saw his rank rise from #16 to #7 overall in the 2026 PRzMN rankings update.
Not the biggest jump for AHA monster OT Dalton DeBoer, but the 9 spots propel him from right outside the Top 15 to well inside the Top 10. However, a #16 ranking as a freshman means we are serious believers in your talent, so I can’t say I’m surprised to see DeBoer ranked so high. It’s all credit to him as well, as he was a massive, but far less mobile, DT and OT as a freshman, and he did some serious work in the offseason to transform his body, and an additional year to grow into your body when you’re his age can do a lot for a prospect’s coordination and overall fluidity.
Off the bat, DeBoer is already 6’7 and possesses a 6’10 wingspan, and his accomplished basketball background really shows up positively and translates well on the gridiron. The massive RT has reps where he looks like a moving mountain, and his long arms can keep defenders at bay while his heavy hands and punch can send them flying when he locks out his arm. The big takeaway is that DeBoer is fantastic in space. I haven’t seen a year-to-year physical transformation and an OT with this size at his age who can move that comfortably and smoothly on the run and in the open field, and he looks very athletic and strikes a towering presence when AHA lets him find work in space. DeBoer gets off the ball well, is laterally agile and balanced, shows good bend, especially for his size and age, and demonstrates great leg drive once he’s engaged. The 6’7, 300 lb OT owns very impressive body control and COD ability in space and on the move, and he’s able to effectively pull, work to the second level, reach, pass set, and shuffle while adding a physical and intimidating signature when he puts his pads on opponents. It’s quite striking to see him dominate and move as a sophomore, and to no one’s surprise, he’s beginning to see the fruits of his labor on the recruiting trail. DeBoer has visited Michigan State, Nebraska, Minnesota multiple times, Wisconsin a couple times, Iowa State, and Iowa this spring. The momentum is only gaining steam too!
