Highlights:
- The surest bet to make the 2025 Minnesota Mr. Football Finalists, Jackson County Central is the physical embodiment of a Land of 10,000 Lakes’ Outstate STUD athlete, with a do-it-all on-field skillset with the size of an offensive or defensive linemen, a decorated multi-sport background, five years of varsity starting experience, and a future B1G home in the Minnesota Golden Gophers
- Stats aren’t available yet, but JCC is off to a 2-0 start with a 114-46 point differential with huge wins over Maple River and Lake Crystal-Wellcome-Memorial
- Jackson County Central was the 13-0 undefeated Class AA state champions in 2024, Voss was unfortunately hurt in the Class AA state quarterfinal against Norwood Young America in early November, but still managed to ran for 1,177 yards and 17 TDs and had three different games where he passed, rushed, and caught a TD.

Football #1/Basketball #33
Voss is one of the most versatile football players in the state. As a quarterback, he has a great arm and is athletic enough to throw on the move. Voss’ speed is problematic when the junior scrambles for yardage and on designed runs. As a receiver, he is physically a problem for any defensive back, plus he adds that speed and solid hands. As a defensive back, he has solid range and is physical when supporting the run. On the basketball court, Voss has missed some time recovering from an injury. However, the small forward is back to help his team (24-4) make a run toward the state tournament.

, a 6’4, 215 lb. QB who is being recruited to play TE or LB at the next level, has long been covered and discussed on PRzMN, including his P4 recruitment, which has been the most fruitful of the 2026 class in Minnesota. UCLA and Auburn are his most recent offers, as well as Miami (FL), making his recruitment truly national, and it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise given how rare it is to find 6’4, 215 lbers. with 4.6 speed and a 10′ broad jump.
The junior owns a dazzling blend of speed, power, and finesse that we haven’t seen in a long time in Minnesota. Voss can easily outpace pursuers down the sideline and in space like a 180 lb. sprinter and displays a fantastic toolbox of ways to beat tackle attempts, including a truck stick, raw speed, hurdles, sudden footwork that can stop on a dime, loose and fluid movement skills, short-area quickness, and a fluidity that makes his effort look like it’s nothing harder than running around a track. To speak to his versatility, Voss has a rep of him playing man coverage in the slot and carrying a slot receiver all the way downfield, winning vertically and taking the top off the defense as a WR, INTs returned for TDs, special teams splash plays, big hits, sacks, and about every single way a tackle could be broken possible. Enjoy him while he’s here, folks!
