Football #18/Basketball #78
It is easy to see why Rowe excels in both sports. He has the strength and pad level to maul people when straight run blocking. However, that is not his most impressive trait on the football field. His quickness and his size separate him. As a tackle, he gets to the second level quickly, and also fast enough to get to the right corner and lead a sweep. As a center in basketball, Rowe is a physical presence down low, but he has great range. He is solid from the three point line and scored his 1000th career point earlier this season. He has good hands and footwork on defense.

Another two-sport athlete, Rowe was the starting left tackle for a 13-0 JCC team that won a state championship last season, and with some serious talent coming back, it looks like they could repeat that success in 2025. Rowe plays like a maurader on his tape, he just loves to hit people. Play after play, unfortunate defensive athletes from the first two levels just get tea-kettled by the big man. He just earned his first FBS offer from the Air Force Academy, and it makes sense when you watch Rowe’s style of play. He’s a physical run-blocker who loves to punish his opponents, and behind him, JCC is going to love to pound the rock this season.

. Reportedly 6’7, 275 lbs., Rowe is also a good hooper and has been putting out some good junior tape so far this season, which, when you combine it with his correlating visits to Iowa State (x2), Kansas State, Minnesota, Iowa, and South Dakota State, means good things for his potential at becoming a P4 offered OT. The big thing with Rowe is there is still a lot of unknowns regarding his athletic profile. I think he hoops all summer, so as far as I know he didn’t attend a prospect camp this summer, and he’s yet to make it to a PrepRedzoneMN Showcase, so by all accounts there just isn’t a lot of data out there, and available on him yet. The multi-sport background and functionality help, but in this day and age, it’s important to get in front of coaches and verify athleticism, so this is a bit different a scenario in this modern recruiting age.
His acceleration, change of direction ability, and massive frame are all on great display in the first rep of his junior midseason tape, as he pulls from his LT spot back around the LOS, sticks his cleat in the ground and gets vertical with pace, and crushes a helpless LB waiting in the hole. His strength is obvious in simple down blocks, and he’s got the quickness and foot speed to successfully hit reach blocks to cut off DEs and OLBs out on the edge of the LOS. I also like how he works to the second level, and his body control and functional movement skills look really good for a kid of his reported size. I think his stock is going to continue to climb and an offer is nearing. Keep your eyes on JCC the rest of the fall, for a variety of reasons.

highlights. The first play of his tape is eye-catching, as Rowe looks like a bull let out of his cage when wrapping back across the LOS on a devastating pull that showed off great body control and mobility for his size. Powerful down blocker, can reach and cut off DEs and OLBs to spring his RBs loose out on the edge, and has a great rep of him working up to the second level. Rowe is a legit athlete at 6’7, 270 and is on the short-list of 2026s nearing a P4 offer. Excellent midseason tape from the big-time junior OT.
