This should be a good football game. Both of these teams have very good players and have been very successful thus far. Brighton will travel to Howell this upcoming Friday, (10/18) for this matchup. Brighton comes into the game at 6-1, Howell enters this game with a perfect 7-0 record. With the high school playoffs nearing it is cool will be treated with a game of this magnitude that has a playoff feel.

Players to Watch

[player_tooltip player_id='247645' first='Bobby' last='Kanka'] | Howell | Twitter | Hudl

Kanka uses his hands very well and does and excellent job of getting off blocks. He is very strong at the point of attack and holds his ground well. Howell will play him often at defensive tackle on the interior of the defensive line, so he can plug running lanes. Kanka plays with good leverage and does a great job of keeping himself in a position where he can see ball carriers. Kanka is an impact player who has a chance to shine once again in a big game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1613589' first='Jackson' last='Pahl'] | Howell | Twitter | Hudl

Pahl plays tight end and defensive end for Howell. Pahl has good burst and can quickly get past opposing blockers at the defensive end position. Pahl is a very good run blocking tight end who does a great job of sustaining the block. Pahl can really fire off the line of scrimmage at tight end also, and it plays a big part in his explosive strength as a blocker. Paul plays fast at defensive end and can really pursue ball carriers well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1298663' first='Lawrence' last='Wells'] | Brighton | Twitter | Hudl

Wells is making a lot of big plays this year at quarterback. He has showed this year and in the past his ability to create long runs when scrambling. Wells is throwing the ball very well this year and his looks great throwing the ball on the run. Wells is playing very fast and confident. He is making reads very quickly and you can tell is very comfortable in this Brighton offense. His playmaking ability will be a factor in this matchup.

[player_tooltip player_id='601926' first='Nathan' last='Stark'] | Brighton | Twitter | Hudl

Stark can get up to top speed quickly at the running back position. He has very good burst and has ability to make defenders miss. Stark has good change of direction and shows good vision to find running lanes when they open up. Stark has good play strength and can put his head down and fight for extra yardage. Stark is a strong runner near the goalie and can finish his carries for touchdowns.

[player_tooltip player_id='1689092' first='Bryce' last='Kish'] | Howell | Twitter | Hudl

Kish is physical, powerful running back who is a good lead blocker as well. He does a good job of seeing the hole open up and then accelerating through it. Kish is a patient runner who will wait behind his blockers. Howell loves to run the ball out of the wishbone and Kish's skill set is perfect for this offense. I expect Howell to try to establish the run early in this game and give the ball to Kish.

This should be a good football game. Both of these teams have very good players and have been very successful thus far. Brighton will travel to Howell this upcoming Friday, (10/18) for this matchup. Brighton comes into the game at 6-1, Howell enters this game with a perfect 7-0 record.
