2027’s I’m Adding To My Recruiting Board Early

While he isn't up playing on varsity yet, his JV film can tell me a lot. First, his footwork and mechanics are nice and consistent, and I really like what I see from his arm strength. He does a nice job of reading the defense and taking what it gives him and even keeping calm in the face of pressure. I would be keeping my eye on him and pulling the trigger on an offer if he continues to take the right steps. First off, he is already at a great size, and he has the physicality and aggression to go with it. He fires off, gets underneath the pads and drives like crazy. He keeps his legs moving and is relentless. He has great size, and defensively this kid is a gap filler! He is able to bull rush, shed blocks and make plays consistently. He owns his gap and does a great job at anchoring down with his strong legs. When I saw him early in the season, he was a good safety valve for his QB and found ways to get open. As the season has progressed and he has found his footing, he is just straight up dominating. Catching jump balls, catching balls in traffic with elite concentration and athleticism, and finding his way to the end zone often, this kid is doing it all. Mason is going to be a formidable team for years to come with Luke on their side. First off, his get off speed is ridiculous. There are a ton of highlights where he is just straight up quicker off the ball than the offensive linemen and he is in the backfield by the time the QB sees him. He has the power to bull rush and make life difficult for the offensive line to protect. My gut tells me he is going to be on a high D2/MAC level very soon, and I don't think that is his ceiling.
