Luke is one of the most productive wideouts in the state and has become a constant in the Mason offense. What he can do is incredibly impressive.
-Has a knack for finding weak spots in the defense and settling.
-Good footwork off the line, and reliable hands.
-YAC demon. Once he gets the ball in his hands, he can make guys miss, turn on the jets or even run guys over at the sticks or at the goal line.
-Has a special ability to make some really difficult catches.
Mason has relied on Luke quite a bit, but his 2026 season is on pace to be massive. He’s a bit quiet as far as social media goes, but make no mistake he is a sleeper D2 guy with the ceiling to go higher.

After getting to see Luke play in person, I have been super high on him and his booming potential. He really played that safety valve kind of position for his QB. Any time the play broke down or the blocking wasn’t there, Goss was able to wiggle free of his defender and give his QB a safe target to gain some yards. He is extremely comfortable with the ball in his hands in the open field, often grabbing extra yardage and outrunning angles for explosive plays. Mason has always thrived when they had a sparkplug kind of player who can deal damage from a variety of positions. It appears

After getting to see Luke play in person, I have been super high on him since. After a couple of great plays, I was shocked to see he was only a 2027. He has size, physicality and overall solid technique.
In my in person evaluation, I noted how he was essentially a safety valve for his QB. Every time everyone seemed covered or the play broke down, Luke was the beneficiary of a heave his way and more often than not, he was able to high point it and come down with the ball. After digging into the rest of his seasons film, I came away impressed with his instincts with the ball in his hands, and I like his route running. Bright future ahead for Luke!

There are a few underclassmen at Mason who are very intriguing prospects. Luke is one of those guys worth keeping an eye on.
Luke is a receiver. Like all receivers at Mason, Luke has excellent fundamentals. In particular, route running and hands. 1:07 is the first play I’ll mention. First off, the Mason staff obviously has a ton of trust in Luke to be calling a 1-on-1 fade to Luke. That trust is obviously earned, because Luke did an excellent job of high-pointing the football, catching with his hands, and coming down with it. Then, the play at 1:23 shows a combination of good route running, patience, and overall open-field IQ. Most receivers wouldn’t have the IQ to fake inside then cut to the sideline- great heads-up play.
I expect another leap forward for Luke next season. The WR market is always extremely competitive, so I don’t quite know what to expect with his recruitment. Though, I will definitely give him a ranking in this coming update.
