It's the month of October and that means it's time for a prospect ranking update! Throughout this month, we have been updating each class ranking and following up those updates with in-depth breakdowns on a ton of prospects in each class. Two weeks ago, we kicked things off with the 2028 Watchlist. Last week, we continued our updates with the 2027 class, featuring the Top 75 Sophomores In Oklahoma. This week, it's time to take a look at the state's 2026 class. The latest ranking update now features the Top 150 Juniors In Oklahoma. In this breakdown, we're taking a look at the quarterback position. All five guys in this breakdown bring a lot of experience to the huddle and all five have appeared to have taken the next step this fall.

We've said this before but it deserves to be mentioned again when you're talking about Tuttle quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='473754' first='Cruz' last='Campbell'] this season. There aren't many players in the state that have made a more significant jump than Campbell this fall. He moved from Southmoore to Tuttle this offseason but his progression and jump as a quarterback has been much more than new surroundings. We've seen him in person a handful of times and it looks like he's grown a few inches and been putting in time in the weight room. There's also a confidence in his game that is hard to shake. Campbell is one of several quarterbacks in this class that has been playing since freshman year but the leap he made this year is off the charts.

Locust Grove quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='428958' first='Titan' last='Hix'] continues to be one of our favorite prospects in the state's 2026 class. He put up monster numbers as a freshman, when he was at Hennessey and has continued to do just that in his last two seasons at Locust Grove. Hix is the true definition of a dual-threat quarterback when you look at the numbers. He's thrown for over 2,300 yards and over 20 touchdowns while also adding over 1,000 yards and over 20 touchdowns on the ground. He's put Locust Grove in a position to be one of the highest scoring offenses in Class 3A this season. And we've watched him work strictly as a passer and as one college coach put it, he's going to be playing on Saturdays at a high level.

Cascia Hall quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1083187' first='Barrett' last='Mullen'] enjoyed a breakout season during his sophomore campaign in 2023. This season, Mullen has emerged as one of the more efficient quarterbacks in Oklahoma. It still feels a little weird watching the Cascia Hall offense throwing the ball 30-35 times a game but it makes sense when you consider who the quarterback is. Mullen has put up some big numbers this fall and is another guy that has taken another step in his progression as a true pocket passer. Mullen shouldn't be overlooked as an athlete by any means but he has been dissecting defenses all season and has Cascia Hall as a true team to watch as we go down the stretch of the regular season. Mullen is one of the top passers in the state.

You can throw Millwood quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='434614' first='CJ' last='Turnbull'] in the same category as Campbell at Tuttle. Turnbull has started since the first game of the 2022 season and is one of the more experienced quarterbacks in the state. And after having solid freshman and sophomore seasons as a good quarterback, he's now knocking on the door of being great. We got a chance to watch the Millwood standout earlier this season and it was like watching a different quarterback. He was about as calm, cool and collected as we've seen from a quarterback this season and while it sounds like a cliche, it also looked like Turnbull had that lightbulb moment. He's starting to put all the pieces together and becoming a complete quarterback.

Our final quarterback is another signal caller that has taken his game to another level this season. Bixby's [player_tooltip player_id='284114' first='Carson' last='Kirby'] has been putting up some really strong numbers this fall as it's clear he has a much better understanding of the offense. Last year, he was getting his feet wet while splitting time with two other guys. This year, he's been the unquestioned QB1 and it's showing. And Kirby's development and growth has been somewhat predictable. Prior to this season, we were told that Kirby was going to open things up more this fall and become more of a threat in the running game. And as of right now (week nine) he leads the team in rushing. He's definitely become more of a complete threat on offense.
