Not sure if there is another prospect who raised their stock higher this weekend, this taking into account all six games covered at the York Rose Bowl. Bishop McDevitt recorded for 8 sacks on the day, at least 4-5 of which were accounted for by senior linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='386324' first='Lucas' last='Lawler']. 6'3, 220, build looked good in person. Looked like an FCS prospect, played like an FBS one. Lawler showed off a motor that wouldn't stop revving, seemingly getting faster and more upfield penetration as the game progressed. Pass-rushers usually cool off as the game chugs along, Lawler was a consistent force until the final whistle blew. Aligned at OLB, could have done damage with his hand on or off the dirt in this one. Bishop McDevitt would call inside stunts for Lawler, the set creating at least three sacks. What's best, Lawler still created sacks on his own, with no need of misdirection or stunt. You can say Lawler also dished out numerous pass-rush styles when one-on-one with the opposing tackle. Flexing speed rush bends and push-pull moves at his leisure, Lawler looked like the best player on a defense loaded with stars.

Senior Quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1131218' first='Demaj' last='Jalloh'] already ranks relatively well. After his performance against William Penn York, I'm inclined to believe he's a top 300 prospect among 2025 peers. Whether or not Jalloh plays quarterback at the next level is a debate for a later time. The better conversation, how far up the rankings can Jalloh go if he continues to play at this level? Incredible improviser, Jalloh made something out of nothing on numerous occasions. Jalloh showed he could escape the pocket, keep his eyes downfield, and find open targets. Jalloh proved he could utilize his legs in the red zone and score on his own accord, which he did twice on the night. Jalloh proved he could stretch the field vertically, hitting striding weapons like [player_tooltip player_id='386321' first='Tanie' last='Young'] and others downfield. A complete performance in my opinion.

Happy to see [player_tooltip player_id='1165830' first='Santana' last='Young'] looking like a number-one wideout in this offense. Young has showcased the ability before, the senior two-way prospect has blown up camps and 7v7 events alike. Young had the opportunity to show off the same prowess against York on Saturday night, doing so in front of a ton of media, myself included. I've advocated and vouched for Young behind the scenes, seeing him repeatedly win against his matchup at the LOS has me wondering what his ceiling is in terms of ranking. If Young can replicate his Week 0 performance against corners inside the Commonwealth, I'll be inclined to throw Young's name to FCS schools that might have WR spots available. Great way to start the season. Six receptions, for 170 yards and a score. Young could have eclipsed this number easily, a 250-yard night was to be had, I'm expecting him to hit that mark at some point during the season. Stock is up.

[player_tooltip player_id='399270' first='David' last='Davis'] stuffed the stat sheet with stellar play on both sides of the ball, yet Williams was as consistent as they come, providing quality two-way reps at wideout and safety. An un-offered senior, Williams looked fantastic in run support. Imani Christian coaches have no problem letting Williams roam inside the box to serve as an extra backer, a role Williams excels in. Williams can still be placed in a traditional safety alignment and hunt for ball carriers here, all while providing three-level pass-catching when split out at wideout. Again, Williams didn't bring home an incredible stat line, yet his presence was certainly felt in this one. He left a lasting impression, hopefully, coaches will feel the same way. His stock is up.

I've heard nothing but good things surrounding [player_tooltip player_id='388178' first='Joseph' last='Sondah']'s name all offseason long. I heard from Imhotep coaches that we had ranked Sondah too low despite a debut inside the top 75 (2026). Sondah showed off impressive tape beside Jahsear Whittington, I just wanted to see him dominate as a 3/5 Tech without Whittington present. Sondah did exactly that. I'm a believer now, a believer that Sondah is a lock for - top 50 rank if he continues to wreak havoc in the trenches. Sondah's hand usage and ability to shed/disengage in tight spaces, all while wearing #25, I couldn't help but think back on the countless games his former teammate and Pitt commit took over in the past. Sondah's stock is rising after a quality start against quality offensive lineman.

I express almost the same sentiment here with safety [player_tooltip player_id='854365' first='Willie' last='Norris'] as I did with Imhotep IDL [player_tooltip player_id='388178' first='Joseph' last='Sondah']. Norris is labeled a top 15 DB in his class, high praise, yet the #129 ranking might not be doing the kid justice. This after seeing him play well as a backend trio with fellow DBs [player_tooltip player_id='646691' first='Dylan' last='Abram'] and [player_tooltip player_id='386313' first='Saimire' last='Locks']. Two interceptions logged for the 2023 leading pick-getter, he's well on his way to earning that title again. Consistently at the right place at the right time. The perfect safety who can play off of his corners ball-hawking habits. Small but unafraid to help in run support. Can be relied on to play single-high, not enough if talked about Norris' range and decision-making at SH-Safety in Cover 1/3 sets. Norris' stock is rising.

So much of Imhotep's past success comes on the heels of Mikel Davis, Jabree and [player_tooltip player_id='386308' first='Sy'eer' last='Coleman'] utilizing their prowess on the ground behind mammoth tackle prospects, with Davis dishing out the rock through the air when necessary. After watching Imhotep's offense against Clarkson North, I'm inclined to believe wideouts might be utilized a bit more in 2024, with [player_tooltip player_id='913942' first='Kareem' last='Haqq'], [player_tooltip player_id='599461' first='Isaiah' last='Prater'] and Zah Pollard being the main beneficiaries. Prater raised his stock more than any of the previously mentioned Panther targets. Two scores, one on a corner route late in the game, another on special teams, returning a punt 70 yards for a score after breaking numerous tackles. I didn't know Prater had this in him, now I do. The next time I'm at an Imhotep game and Prayer pops off, I won't be so surprised. There aren't 40 better senior wideouts in my opinion, Prater's 2024 opener proved it. His rank will reflect this.
