The Class of 2025 is hard at work trying to impress college coaches and preparing for their senior season. The quarterbacks of this class have been through a lot. Through three years, many QBs are entering their third or fourth year of starting on Varsity. These QBs in particular are all seasoned vets who've finally earned some attention this offseason.

Before committing to Central Michigan a week ago, Lawrence garnered a ton of attention earlier this year. Earlier, he received offers from Ball State, Pitt, Eastern Michigan, and others.
At the MHSAA Showcase in Brighton, I finally understood why. First off, Lawrence passes the eye test, being an athletic 6'2" QB with a quick throwing motion. Better yet, he's consistently accurate. Throwing short crossers/outs, Lawrence is able to sling it with impressive power and accuracy. On deeper passes, Lawrence can throw with touch and again, impressive accuracy. Moving forward, I'd love to see more anticipation on his throws, which will happen if he develops great relationships with the Brighton WRs.

James is undoubtedly one of the most covered prospects on this site. Early in his career, James was a high-upside QB from a lesser-known school. Last summer, James had a string of highly impressive camp and 7on7 performances. I especially remember the Hope 7on7 last year when him and [player_tooltip player_id='814543' first='Preston' last='Otter'] went head-to-head in a shootout.
At the MHSAA camp in Jenison, James stood out as by far the best QB of the day, this time, wearing a Muskegon Big Red helmet. His fundamentals have always been solid, while his accuracy has steadily improved over the years. The offers haven't come like I thought they could this offseason, but with a good season with the Big Reds, James will finally earn his due offers.

Cason is another one of the most-covered prospects on this site. Early in his career, he was a promising raw QB with a ton of accuracy and fundamental issues. Quickly, he's grown into an incredibly consistent QB with better fundamentals and good accuracy. Last season, he led Mason to a State Championship appearance. Recently, he's received offers from Western Michigan and Western Illinois.
It's all about trajectory for Cason. I'll be honest and say that I don't know if his current skills are D1 college level, but his trajectory is. The amount of work he's put in to earn those offers is incredible. Namely, his accuracy has become consistent and his IQ is stellar for a high school QB. If he can further improve his anticipation, pocket presence, and accuracy, he can definitely develop into a starter in the MAC.

I'm not sure how many colleges are looking at Hunter, but he's sure as heck on my radar after watching him at the HAWK. For a QB playing 8-man football, he was incredible. I actually covered Hunter just two days ago, but I can't help but continue to pound the table for him. His accuracy, throw power, and overall talent are incredible. He doesn't have amazing IQ, and the regular-season competition obviously isn't the best. Even though there are some unavoidable flaws, I strongly believe that Hunter can be a future starting College QB.

I'll be honest: I'm not the biggest fan of Khanye's tape. As a QB, he's a playmaker at heart and does most of his work off-script. Though, he has led Pontiac to more success than they've had in ages. It's also very notable that he's cut through the turbulence at Pontiac, and he's found a way to succeed where few have.
It's obvious that Khanye is a great competitor. Even more obvious is his traits as an athlete. Able to make quick decisions outside the pocket, Khanye is a true dual-threat QB. He's even received a D3 offer from Adrian. From a recruiting standpoint, Khanye is a huge standout this offseason. Moving forward, I'm extremely excited to see Khanye play in 2024.
