The Wright name when it comes to football might as well be royalty in Vian. And [player_tooltip player_id='424595' first='Masyn' last='Wright'] is the next one to have an impact on the Wolverine football program. Wright has been a standout for Vian since his freshman season. While he mostly played quarterback last season, make no mistake, he is a terrific athlete that can do a lot of things well. And like we see with a lot of small school programs, the best athlete on the team usually ends up at quarterback. While Wright isn't going to be a quarterback at the next level, he will be something. He is a terrific athlete that can play running back, wide receiver or turn around and play several spots on defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='587295' first='Zaylun' last='Matlock'] is a very intriguing prospect for us because there aren't many players in the state's 2026 class that have been more productive than him over the last two seasons. Matlock emerged as a star for McLoud and he had a breakout moment as a freshman and that only continued during his sophomore season. This offseason, Matlock announced that he was transferring to Choctaw and if he ends up with the Yellowjackets on Friday night, they are getting a player that can do a lot of things very well. In all three phases of the game, Matlock has the potential to be a game-changer. The only thing left to figure out with him is what position he fits in at the next level.

Elgin is going to be one of the top teams in Class 4A this season and they have state title aspirations. [player_tooltip player_id='472321' first='Ritson' last='Meyer'] has the potential to be a breakout star for the Owls this season. Last year, Meyer would split his time between offense and defense and was the backup running back. But with the Owls needing Meyer to elevate to the starter's role, we have a feeling that this fall is about to be a big one for Meyer and the Elgin offense. We saw flashes of him being a very impactful player for Elgin last season. Now that his production is going to go up, we think that he's going to end up being one of the top standouts in Class 4A this season.

Durant standout [player_tooltip player_id='402370' first='Cole' last='Robbins'] is another great definition of the "athlete" tag. We've probably lost count of how many different positions we've seen Robbins play over the last two years. Between his varsity action with Durant in the fall to what we've seen from him in the offseason while playing 7v7, Robbins has done a little bit of everything. Normally, we start to lean one way or the other, whether it's offense or defense or a position over another one. With Robbins, we have no lean even now after two years of watching him. The Durant standout does a lot of things very well and he can end up impacting the game in a variety of ways.

In Mannford you have an underrated and versatile athlete that's flying under the radar. [player_tooltip player_id='481595' first='Max' last='Moore'] is an athlete that can get the job done in a variety of ways and checks a lot of the boxes that coaches are looking for. First off, Moore looks the part from a physical standpoint. He's also a very athletic kid because he is a standout in multiple sports but it looks like football is the one where he has the highest ceiling. Moore also has the genetics on his side. His older brother plays football at Navy and his grandfather played football at Tulsa. Moore has stood out to us on film on a number of occasions and he's a prospect that might be under the radar but shouldn't be.
