Reviewing Tape of 2026 Risers

The Class of 2026 has a few athletes starting to see offers roll in. It is going to be another impressive group that looks like it will put double digits into the FBS level when it is all said and done. In today's article and film review we are going to focus on several 2026s that don't have an offer at the moment, but their time is coming within the next year. Get these studs on your radars today if they aren't there already. Let's get it!    Mitchel is back healthy and better than ever and ready for a summer of impressing college coaches with his talents. The massive guard is just shy of 6'5" and tips the scales at 290 lbs. Mitchel fits the mold of a high level guard on tape. He has a powerful base and heavy hands to quickly shut down any sort of bull rush in pass protection. We see him play with great balance and trust in his feet to keep him in front of his man without reaching or putting himself in bad positions. Also, when uncovered he shows good awareness as he looks for blitzes or to give help to his line mates. In the run game the 2026 has sufficient range that allows him the ability to get to LBs. Mitchel Las does a great job using quick feet to get himself between the defender and the running lane and then getting leverage on his opponent. I'm excited to potentially see him take off this summer.      The all region LB/S hybrid sophomore is getting bigger and better this offseason. He just put up 500 lbs in the squat rack this week, and looks ready to start to impress at camps this summer. On tape, Brock is a heat seeking missile. He flies off the edge on blitzes, pressuring the QB. We see the power he has as he takes on pulling linemen, shed the block and make the tackle against the run. He is very stout against the run, and that gives him the ability to dominate in the box. His agility and acceleration make him a nightmare to get a lineman on as he flies through the front seven to make tackles. Brock's high football IQ lets him play so fast. He is a perfect chess piece that is sure to start turning heads this summer.      Jack is going to be one of the best ILBs on HS fields this fall in WI. The 6'2" 215 lbs '26 has very good lateral movement and range to chase sideline to sideline. He plays even faster than he will test because he is a quick processor and reacts right away. Jack plays with the physicality that dominates at the HS level, and ensures you that he can handle playing at a high level at the next level. Jack easily powers through blocks on his way to making tackles, and shows excellent timing on his blitzes. The talented LB also has some impressive runs at RB on his tape too. He stood out on the field as a sophomore. I'm excited to see him continue to gain attention.      Kaukauna has an embarrassment of riches at safety over the past couple seasons. Back and ready to dominate this fall is [player_tooltip player_id='1220654' first='Luke' last='Tetzlaff']. The 2026 flies around the field with speed and aggression. Agasint the run you will see him instantly read and fly downhill meeting the back at the line. His range is what is needed to be an impact at the next level. His tackling is also what you need. An athlete who can be trusted as the last line of defense. In zone coverage Luke shows excellent read and reaction and ball skills to get to the ball and break up passes. Luke is showing that he has the talent to develop into a high end safety prospect. Don't miss out on this kid.      Ryan is a massive OL who similarly to Mitchel, mentioned above, is back from injury and ready to dominate the trenches. Watching through the 2023 highlights it quickly becomes apparent how much of a bully Ryan is in the run game an dhow far superior his strength is compared to his opponent. Ryan easily drives his opponent down the line away from the called gap. From his leg drive to his heavy hands, Ryan has dominant power. His ability to overpower DL is special and he also has decent range to be able to pull and kick out defenders. Ludwig is a huge prospect and those kids usually need some time for body control to fully develop, so don't be surprised to see him take a big leap when tape starts coming out this fall. He may also begin to show it at camps this summer. Big things ahead for Ryan.      I'm very excited for Cael to start grabbing attention at camps this summer and with his film this fall. In 2023 the 6'4" 280 lbs lineman was voted Most Improved Player on a State Championship team. The sophomore center tape is impressive to watch. Cael has excellent quickness, burst, and range out of his stance. He instantly gets on his man before they can make a move to avoid him. Once he gets hands on he clamps on and runs them off the line with excellent power. Cael also plays with the tenacity and violence to dominate the trenches to go along with the athleticism that he has. It is a very intriguing blend that will translate to the next level. With two years ahead of him to develop you can expect to see him make big strides. Get on this kid early.      Liam is a very intriguing new prospect on our radar. He is an impressive 6'6" 200 lbs who plays punter, DL/OLB, and TE. The raw athlete has talent at each of those positions that should grab him some early attention. On offense he presents a huge target with solid hands. He runs smooth routes that consistently get him separation. On defense we see Liam make impressive plays on the edge taking on blocks and making tackles while maintaining contain. I'm looking forward to seeing this development this season.
