NDSU has done a great job of recruiting WI and that continues into 2026 with a guy like LB

. The 1st Team All Conference LB is another great example of how deep this LB Class is. Jack is violent and physical. He goes everywhere at 100 mph, yet is under control at the same time. From what I have heard it sounds like we could see him at RB even more in 2025 than we did in 2024. Jack is going to potentially have an outstanding stat line and a lot of team success. I can’t wait to see how it unfolds.

I have been pounding the drum for this off-ball LB Class during this rankings update and a lot of them are starting to see their first D1 offer. The next man up for his is an easy choice. Jack is a huge impact in the middle of the Mt. Horeb defense. His vast experience has developed his instincts to a point where he understands situations, keys, and processes what he is seeing at such a high rate. Partnered with the strong mental side of his game is a skillset that is proving it is next level ready. The acceleration and speed are there to trigger downhill or run sideline to sideline. He does well playing through traffic and has shown the strength to quickly disengage when a block does land on him. Wilson checks the boxes and is only going to keep proving it.

I love watching Jack play football, especially when he is asked to blitz from his MLB position. The junior LB has a great initial burst that helps him succeed whether he is right at the line or blitzing from his usual off-ball alignment. That burst allows him to beat linemen through gaps before they can pinch in on him or cut him off. When they do get to him Jack has shown the power to be able to run through those blocks. Once in the backfield the junior has the closing speed and range to be get to the ball and bring them down for the sack or TFL.

What a night for the MHB defense, and leading the way was the standout junior LB. Jack was a monster all night. He flew around the front seven, making tackles, TFLs, sacks, and getting pressure on the QB. Wilson is so disruptive because of the athletic traits he is blessed with. The junior has a good burst on his blitzes and has the strength to be able to shed blocks of OL or RBs in the backfield. Wilson has impressive lateral movement skills that did a great job of keeping him clean throughout the night as he was attacking downhill. It was impressive watching how consistently Jack was creating disruption in the backfield against the run and pass. He has a nose for where the ball is going to be thanks to next level instincts and was so quick to diagnose plays and react. The arrow is pointing up for this kid. He’s an impressive recruit at the LB position.

Jack is going to be one of the best ILBs on HS fields this fall in WI. The 6’2″ 215 lbs ’26 has very good lateral movement and range to chase sideline to sideline. He plays even faster than he will test because he is a quick processor and reacts right away. Jack plays with the physicality that dominates at the HS level, and ensures you that he can handle playing at a high level at the next level. Jack easily powers through blocks on his way to making tackles, and shows excellent timing on his blitzes. The talented LB also has some impressive runs at RB on his tape too. He stood out on the field as a sophomore. I’m excited to see him continue to gain attention.

The 6′ 185 lbs ATH is the most impressive non-OL in the Class of 2026. Jack jumps out from the crowd when you watch his tape. He has a superior build, athleticism, and power compared to everyone else on the field. On offense, Wilson is a patient runner who trusts his eyes. He finds lanes, blocks, and sets up defenders well. His long speed stands out rep after rep as he pulls away in the open field. On defense, Jack lines up at off ball OLB. A lot of the same traits transfer to the defensive side of the ball. He is quick to read and react to platys. He uses his quickness and speed to get to the ball and through the trash without much resistance. His body control and agility allow him to look comfortable and natural in space. Big things ahead for Jack.
