Here are the quarterbacks who stood out and were selected as Top Performers by the college coaches in attendance coaching them up along with the best of the rest who deserved a mention too!
Camp MVP
We’ve known that 2026 Lincoln QB AJ Bart AJ Bart 6’0″ | 160 lbs | QB Lincoln | 2026 WV is a talented quarterback but had yet to see him play or have any film available to evaluate heading into the event which made him an intriguing unknown. He answered our questions quickly at the Combine en route to a QB MVP performance while competing with some talented passers in attendance. Bart earned several accolades last season for the Cougars as a sophomore and was a very productive player during his first season as the varsity starter.
Bart not only caught our attention during the event but did so with the college coaches in attendance as well who selected him as our QB MVP. He may have been flying under the radar for some before the camp, but that certainly is the case no more, especially once he posts some season film.

Top Performers
Two out-of-state quarterbacks made the trip to West Virginia to compete with some of our best and finished the camp with QB Top Performer honors. That includes 2026 quarterback Joey Felitsky Joey Felitsky 5’11” | 170 lbs | QB North Catholic | 2026 PA who is now at North Catholic (PA) and is poised for a breakout junior season on the gridiron. Felitsky is very comfortable in camp settings where he’s able to show off his accuracy and touch with extra focus on his arm talent. He showed consistent and accurate ball placement on his throws at all depths of the field.
Felitsky also did a nice job leading his receivers while throwing catchable balls without needing the receivers to adjust to them. Accuracy is certainly the strength of his game at this stage of his development.

The second out-of-state quarterback that showed out at the WV Combine and earned QB Top Performer honors was 2026 St. Mary’s Ryken’s Tre Kennedy. Kennedy is a physically impressive sophomore passer which is a great benefit to his arm talent. Kennedy has a very strong arm that can stretch the field vertically and can push it down the field farther than many sophomore QBs. He can also put some serious zip on the ball with the best of them. Kennedy also posses a quick release and delivers a consistent tight spiral on his passes.
He’s an effortless thrower and the ball just seems to pop off his hand with a lot of velocity. Kenendy is a quarterback to know in Maryland, and we’re glad he made the trip to WV and are sure he is too.

Hurricane QB/ATH Noah Vellaithambi Noah Vellaithambi 5’11” | 205 lbs | ATH Hurricane | 2025 State WV certainly needs no introduction if you’re familiar with WV high school football. He ranks as our #1 ATH in the 2025 class and a Top 5 prospect right now after a tremendous season playing running back for the Redskins but will be transitioning back to quarterback for the upcoming season and competed there at the Combine. The talented junior didn’t need to prove himself anymore than he already has while posting numerous D1 offers to date but still didn’t miss the chance to compete with some of the state’s best and earned himself QB Top Performer honors.
He looked the part in person and showed us why he’s so highly thought of by colleges around the region and why we consider him a Top 5 prospect in the class.

The surprise of the event at least for the quarterback group was 2025 East Hardy QB Brayden Gregory Brayden Gregory 6’0″ | 205 lbs | QB East Hardy | 2025 WV . Gregory was a late addition to the event having signed up as a walk up as our 156th registrant and earned himself QB Top Performer honors in doing so. He’s had to wait his turn at the high school level for the Cougars but should finally get his opportunity to be their QB1 for his senior season in 2024. Gregory has been making a name for himself this off-season at camps and the hard work and patience is beginning to pay off for him.
He certainly caught our attention at the Combine and have always liked what we saw from the small glimpses we got from him in the past. Gregory can beat you with his arm or his legs from his prior experience as an ATH, but his arm is what got him noticed yesterday and what earned him a Top 5 QB spot.

Best of the Rest
We finally had the chance to see 2027 Martinsburg QB Brian Dick Brian Dick 5’11” | 190 lbs | QB Martinsburg | 2027 WV ‘s arm for the first time and there was a lot to like about the promising freshman. We knew he was a talented runner from the glimpse we got from his time leading the Bulldogs’ JV team last season but were a TBD on his arm talent until we could see it for ourselves. Dick may not have made our Top 5 quarterbacks at the event but the future is certainly bright for the young man and was arguably the top freshman passer in attendance.
Dick is also a physically impressive freshman who did not look like he was about to enter his sophomore year of high school. That bodes well for his future outlook and could develop into the state power’s next star dual-threat QB.

We always enjoy seeing 2026 Doddridge County quarterback Brysen Dixon Brysen Dixon 5’8″ | 140 lbs | QB Doddridge County | 2026 State WV live and it was great to see how he’s progressed since we last saw him a year ago in person. He’s made great strides physically and you could see a big difference in his body and stature in physical growth. That’s been the main thing that he’s needed to progress in the most as an undersized athlete and it was great to be able to see he’s put in the work to do so.
The quarterback group in attendance at the Combine was deep and talented, so even though Dixon may not have been selected as a Top 5 performer, he still showed us what we wanted to see from him and is worthy of being mentioned with the best of the rest.

2026 Capital QB Fernando Valdivia Fernando Valdivia 5’9″ | 160 lbs | QB Capital | 2026 State WV is another undersized but talented passer who always catches our eye when we see him play. He possesses a strong arm for his stature and can really drive the ball down the field effortlessly. The ball jumps off his hand, and he’s a natural thrower who looks smooth operationally. We’ve been fans of Valdivia for a while now and currently have him ranked inside of our 2026 Top 5 quarterbacks. He showed us why we do at the Combine and has been the starting QB1 for the Cougars since his freshman year.
If he can continue adding size over the next two years, Valdivia can maintain that high praise and ranking by the time he’s a senior and finish as one of the top passers in this class.
Welcome back to West Virginia Lucas McAllister Lucas McAllister 6’0″ | 170 lbs | QB Weir | 2025 WV ! The 2025 Weir quarterback recently made the move back to the Mountain State from Ohio state power Steubenville and was very productive during his time at Weirton Madonna as an underclassman before heading to Ohio. McAllister looks the part in person from a physical standpoint and was one of the better body types at the event for the quarterback group with an athletic build. He’s another quarterback who may not have been chosen as a Top 5 Performer but certainly has the talent to have been in the mix.
We’re looking forward to seeing what he can do for the Red Riders his senior season who will be looking for him to step in and take the reins as their QB1 with the graduation of a senior.
We consider Chapanville’s Robert Cook Robert Cook 6’2″ | 185 lbs | ATH Chapmanville | 2025 WV as an ATH right now on our Watch List as someone who has the athleticism to be versatile for which position he plays at the next level but showed his ability as a quarterback shouldn’t be overlooked during the Combine. He stood out right away amongst the quarterback group at the event from a physical build standpoint. Cook is built very well for the position and further proved our hunch that he has the athleticism to be able to move around at the next level positionally. His arm is a work in progress, but Cook still made some nice throws during the event and was worth mentioning as one of the best of the rest quarterbacks there.
We’ll be watching him next season to see if he continues to make strides in his passing ability to determine whether he’ll be ranked as an ATH or if a move to QB in the rankings will be in order.
