Blew away coaches and scouts who weren’t in the know. Covering New England, I was well aware of Zelman’s skills beforehand, yet still equally surprised when watching him work up close. Carries one of the more pleasing releases to see up close. Lightning quick, a front-foot lift is attached. Far and away the best performance put forth by the highest ranking prospect in the building. Will speak more about his performance combining both his work in PA and at the New England Showdays in another piece.
Highlights
Generated some buzz at camp without throwing the football, good build. Height and weight combination checks out, not as slight in terms of muscle mass as I had previously thought. Matched his impressive size with impressive accuracy. Targeted corner routes with tempo and touch, nine routes were hit in stride. Not much hip torque needed to push the ball 40 yards downfield. Rankings boost incoming, along with a deeper eval.
Highlights
Out-of-state prospect who validated his ranking. Arguably the most consistent out of the group in terms of accuracy. Coaches raved over his demeanor, his consistent accuracy hitting routes under 15 yards on time, landing the football on the correct shoulder. Good footwork, didn’t show unnecessary hitches. Had a few reps showcasing he could throw a target open, rare to see that at an event like this. Deeper eval coming later.

Running Back Selections
Locked up MVP early at this event, shined during the combine portion of this event. Staggering numbers for a kid who weighed in at 170 pounds, standing at 5086. Sub 4.6 40 times, back to back. 9’8 Broad registered. If he didn’t wow coaches enough with these numbers, Johnson running through indi drills with ease and making kids look silly during 1v1s secured the notion. One of the easier MVPs to pick, hardly any deliberation. Will place well on our ranks.

‘s other-worldly performance, I would have chosen Forest Park’s Landon Hunt to take home RB MVP. The Virginia prospect looked a bit sharper than the pack. Burst, agility during indi/bag drills, balance and core strength displayed during 1v1s. Hunt caught the ball better than I expected. Already carries a low D1/high D2 grade out of me, I’m inclined to give him a bump once the time comes to update 2025s again. Great performance from a kid who boasts even better tape.

took home WR MVP. I’d argue he and Domo Diaz were Co-MVPs, yet I cannot deny how special Turner looked from start to finish. Far and away the best route runner present, can create separation without relying on athleticism (speed and acceleration). Again, this is the book on Turner and has been for some time. I fully expected him to have DBs shaking their heads. Turner came into the dome with a chip on his shoulder, ready to make his presence known among Division One coaches present, he did just that. No wasted opportunity here. Whether or not he hears back from coaches is another question, we can sleep happily knowing he left a lasting impression.
I struggle with the fact we didn’t name Dominic Diaz MVP. It’s hardly the point of why he attended, however. Diaz-Ellis is on one hell of a stretch in the recruiting world, he came specifically to prove his speed to Maine, Monmouth, Lehigh, and other schools present. He did that by posting a 4.60 and a 4.46 40 time (HT). That secured things for coaches, seeing him fly by DBs was the nail in the coffin. Diaz went home with another FCS offer under his belt, easy work for the Top 50 junior. MVP performance in my eyes.
The most physically imposing wideout at the event. Can blend stride and length with strength and nuanced route running. The Northeast is finally coming around to all things

, with the FCS schools present all inquiring on Hardy’s skill set a bit deeper with me. Turner was juiced up, and Diaz destroyed the combine portion of this event, yet Hardy was as advertised. An unstoppable matchup for DBs, Hardy consistently caught the ball away from his body while maintaining separation. Ranked inside the Top Five at his position for a reason.

We messed up not showing Darian Nelson Darian Nelson 6’0″ | ATH Plum | 2025 State PA love post-camp. We all had Nelson’s number circled or written down, the Plum junior flashed soft hands while taking each rep as if it was his last. Energy, attentive to coaching, Nelson couldn’t have performed better in hindsight. Chiseled build, a build that could absorb contact and separate via gait. Was a vacuum in terms of catch radius, he adjusted to poorly thrown balls all event and didn’t complain. The young man did enough to justify a move up our ranks. Excited to show off his new rank in the future. I’ll do what I can to continue plugging his name further.

put together some seriously impressive performances next to Delaney, yet Delaney forced our hand by winning every single rep he took. The PSAC schools all took note of his performance, he likely moved up some OL boards after this one.

Bleek Turner Bleek Turner 6’3″ | 290 lbs | OL St. Joseph’s Prep | 2025 State PA left this event with his first Division One offer under his belt. Monmouth pulled the trigger on the SJP tackle, forcing my hand in terms of ranking. This served as the first time laying eyes on the giant tackle, not counting tape posted on Hudl. All coaches clamored to see him work against the defensive linemen present. Turner put in his fair share of work, I have to give him credit when it’s due. I can make the case for Turner to have been named MVP considering he had to match up against much better competition, as well as a number of different pass-rush styles for over an hour’s worth of 1v1s. Turner bringing home a scholarship offer only cements that notion. He and Delaney both earned 1st-Team All-Camp honors.
