Ferrum College seems to be cleaning up quite nicely in Northern Virginia, I wonder if Hunt follows some of his opponents to their?

. The senior will not go away quietly as he gashed Colgan’s defense for 258 yards and 6 touchdowns! No that is not a misprint, Hunt averaging nearly 9 yards per carry ran all over Coach Scott’s defense. The Bruins can finish with another season above .500 this week and their playoff hopes are not quite over yet. It would be fun to see this guy and his linemen get one more shot but that will sort itself out.

he has been among the best backs in the state for the past two plus seasons. What I find more impressive about Hunt’s work is that he knows teams are keying on him and he has still been able to break loose and make plays. He is on pace for another 1,000 yard rushing season, but he has also made plays catching the ball out of the backfield. I would not be surprised if he catches a couple scores tonight.

was instrumental offensively for the Bruins win. The district leading rusher from a year ago got going with a 2 touchdown 119 yard rushing performance. If you follow Forest Park you know they love to run the football behind their division 1 offensive linemen.

lead the way for the Bruins last year averaging 6.3 yards per carry and nearly 1,500 yards on the ground. He literally carried them offensively as a Junior all the way the way to the playoffs.
What people may not know about Hunt is that he is an excellent receiver out of the backfield and he displayed that at our showcase and many other off-season events. I would like for Coach Robinette to find more ways to get him the football this year as teams know now that he cannot sneak up on them.
One of the top ranked running backs in the state is a high caliber division 2 prospect who is starting to get attention from many PSAC schools.

If not for Jaylen Johnson‘s other-worldly performance, I would have chosen Forest Park’s Landon Hunt to take home RB MVP. The Virginia prospect looked a bit sharper than the pack. Burst, agility during indi/bag drills, balance and core strength displayed during 1v1s. Hunt caught the ball better than I expected. Already carries a low D1/high D2 grade out of me, I’m inclined to give him a bump once the time comes to update 2025s again. Great performance from a kid who boasts even better tape.

did not disappoint the home crowd with his performance on the evening. Everyone already knows this dude can run the ball well but what he showed on Wednesday is his ability as a pass catcher. Picking up his first offer from Stevenson University, Hunt looks poised to lead Forest Park this season on a deep playoff run. Between him and the big man blocking for him, I think it is safe bet you will see him and the Bruins competing for a district title.
