Continue ReadingRanked just outside the Top 150 in his class, high praise. The top 250 are reserved for prospects who earned a Division One grade out of me. Consider this eval a hit, consider Nikolas Engelmore Nikolas Engelmore 6’4″ | 280 lbs | OL Avonworth | 2025 State PA ‘s current recruiting floor to level off at local FCS programs. On April 30th, months after posting awesome OL tape from this past Fall, and weeks after making the rounds at local junior days, Avonworth’s Engelmore heard back from Coach Jason Makrinos. Robert Morris pulled the trigger, opening up recruiting for Engelmore. Good eye on the staff, this kid fits the mold. Expect Duquesne and Saint Francis to pull the trigger, local MAC schools are likely to inquire.

One of the best QB prospects the class of 2026 has to offer currently. Jalen Harris Jalen Harris 6’1″ | 170 lbs | QB Chester | 2026 State PA ‘s recruiting opened up after UConn and Robert Morris offered the Chester passer back in December. Despite every local FBS program knowing of Harris’ skillset, the year 2024 has been relatively quiet surrounding the Top Five quarterback. That is until Kent State offered Harris on May 1st, making it the second G5 program to pull the offer trigger on the All-State QB. Harris’ talents are Power Four worthy, my ranking says as much. MAC schools are hardly his ceiling, in my opinion.
Top 75 senior defensive lineman [playTop 75 senior defensive lineman Kyaire Howern , stationed out of Imani Christian Academy out West, announced on May 1st his intentions to commit to Saint Vincent College. SVC does a good job cleaning up out West, this should serve as a great addition to the program, a top 500 senior who is likely to make an immediate impact on campus, so long as he continues to prepare in a similar manner as he has under Coach LaRoi Johnson. Interested in seeing where he plays in two years time, DL, LB, or elsewhere. Great late addition to the SVC program.

The tear Logan Wegman Logan Wegman 6’5″ | 260 lbs | DL Exeter Township | 2025 State PA has been on since the New Year commenced should be documented. I’ll go on record, although I placed a D1 grade on the Exeter Township junior, I didn’t quite foresee Wegman tallying this many offers before his senior season.
Offers in January: Dartmouth, Brown.
Offers in February: Cornell, UMass, Lafayette, Lehigh, Army WP, Maine, Harvard
Offers in March: Yale, Buffalo, Princeton, Columbia, Bucknell, New Hampshire,
Offers in April: Bryant, William & Mary
Wegman picked up his fourth G5 offer on the first of May, this coming from UConn. Wegman’s ceiling is much higher than I had previously imagined. Awesome seeing him heating up the way he has as of late.
La Salle’s Joey O’Brien Joey O’Brien 6’4″ | 180 lbs | ATH La Salle College | 2026 State PA , who has been heavily linked to Notre Dame since his March 17th offer from the program, continues to prove what I have said for over a year. This is one of the best recruits in all of Pennsylvania, his recruitment is finally catching up.
Since O’Brien’s Notre Dame offer (March)…
March- Syracuse, Virginia Tech
April – Penn State, Mizzou, Florida State
O’Brien is still seeing his stock sore with May withholding offers extended to O’Brien out of Indiana, Boston College, Illinois, and Michigan. Many in recruiting circles have rumbled about Michigan potentially pulling interest away from Notre Dame who, again, stands as the current leader for the two-way starter. Time will tell.

Jimmy Kalis Jimmy Kalis 6’6″ | 280 lbs | OL Pittsburgh Central Catholic | 2027 State PA continues to draw my attention. The PCC freshman received a handful of new scholarship offers once the calendar moved to the Month of May. Miami of Ohio matches Kalis’s Akron offer, expect more MAC schools out West to clamor for positioning. Further out west come ACC’s N.C. State, as well as Central Michigan, the two being the latest to offer the 6’6 offensive lineman. Kalis’ recruitment will have him in the running for the top OL spot on our next update. This is a Big10-ceiling type of lineman. We’ll see if the Notre Dame’s and Wisconsin’s of the world offer Kalis after his sophomore season ends this coming Fall.

Excited to see the post come into my notifications. Hollidaysburg junior and Top Ten PA 2025 offensive lineman Wyatt Maines Wyatt Maines 6’4″ | 265 lbs | OL Hollidaysburg | 2025 State PA announced on May 1st that he had received his first scholarship offer out of Saint Francis University. I’ve been pounding the table for the young man, seeing him finally get traction before his senior year begins gives me hope in terms of future stock. I have no doubt Maines will be putting forth fantastic tape come this Fall, it’s imperative that he gains traction beforehand, ultimately maxing out all potential interest before releasing a make-or-break “senior first-three” tape. Fantastic news to see come through the feed! Kid is a winner and hard worker.

Firmly believe JP Oates is one of the best athletes in what’s becoming a loaded class of 2026 in Pennsylvania. JP Oates, who recently ranked as the third-best wideout prospect among his classmates, gets his name on a collegiate board via Coach Nick Gould at Howard University. A snowball is likely to occur in Oates’s favor. Despite my constant clamoring for attention his way, I feel as though many aren’t catching wind of his game. Likely to play TE this coming Fall, especially with his frame growing the way it has as of late. He’s a capable defender too, yet he’s likely to serve as a pass-catching option second to senior and Syracuse commit Julian McFadden Julian McFadden 5’11” | ATH La Salle College | 2025 State PA . An O’Brien-like jump in recruiting isn’t out of the question.
