Bradley Gompers Bradley Gompers 6’5″ | 205 lbs | LB Pittsburgh Central Catholic | 2025 State PA is a name that has consistently been coming up on the recruiting scene the Junior out of Pittsburgh Central Catholic. The 2025 prospect was offered by UNLV back on 4/15/2023. Gompers started off the spring with a visit to Northwestern. Two days later he picked up an offer from the Blue Devils of Duke. On 3/23 he made a visit to Pittsburgh University who already had him offered. He then visited Michigan State, Penn State, Duke, and Rutgers. Bradley also received an offer from Maryland on 4/11. Gompers will have a dominant Senior campaign this season, and I’m looking forward to turning the tape on in a couple of months.
Antwan Black Antwan Black 6’1″ | 170 lbs | ATH Laurel Highlands | 2025 State PA Jr is an extremely explosive prospect out of Laurel Highlands. The 2025 prospect is 6’1 | 170 lbs. He can move and the 4.4 forty-yard dash backs it up! Delaware offered Black on 3/11, and he was offered by Marshall, Bowling Green, Syracuse, and Boston College earlier this off-season. I do expect more programs to take notice of Antwan before the season starts. He is a top prospect in the WPIAL, and he is due for a huge Senior Season!
Latrobe has a fantastic athlete in John Wetzel John Wetzel 6’1″ | 200 lbs | DB Greater Latrobe | 2025 State PA . The 2025 prospect plays Saftey, Quarterback, and plays Point Guard for the school. He earned 1st Team All-State honors last season. Along with 1st Team All-Conference DB Honors. Wetzel picked up his first offer of the spring on the first of March when Kent State pulled the trigger on him. He was later offered by Buffalo, Eastern Michigan, Monmouth. I’m expecting a big Senior campaign from the ATH out of Latrobe. I’d expect more FCS level programs to pick up on John!

Mickey Vaccarello Mickey Vaccarello 6’3″ | 210 lbs | LB Peters Township | 2025 State PA has had a very exciting past 2 months. He announced where he will be taking his talents on 4/17, but I want to start with the programs that offered Mickey earlier this spring. Starting the list off with Harvard, Old Dominion, Navy, Yale, and Stanford. Vaccarello took a trip to Salt Lake City on 4/12 to visit Utah during Spring ball. As I stated previously there was an announcement made on 4/17. Mickey will be taking his talents to Stanford University once his senior year concludes. I’m extremely happy for Mickey and wish him nothing but the best moving forward!

Colsen Gatten Colsen Gatten 6’1″ | 210 lbs | ATH Pittsburgh Central Catholic | 2026 State PA out of Pittsburgh Central Catholic was already a highly recruited player going into the offseason. There is no sign of it slowing down either. The 2026 prospect started the spring off with an offer from Notre Dame on 3/17. Just two days later Gatten received an offer from Michigan. On April Fools Day it was no jokes all smiles for the Viking’s star prospect, he picked up two offers. One from Maryland and one from Oklahoma.
