is a good athlete at linebacker for Peters Township. The Stanford commit has excellent athletic skills and he is a game-wrecker against opposing offenses. He does a great job of exploding off the edge and making plays against offensive players in the backfield. He is a sack and tackles-for-loss machine. He is constantly putting pressure on the offense by making tackles in the backfield. Vaccarello is an excellent prospect and a difference-maker.

has had a very exciting past 2 months. He announced where he will be taking his talents on 4/17, but I want to start with the programs that offered Mickey earlier this spring. Starting the list off with Harvard, Old Dominion, Navy, Yale, and Stanford. Vaccarello took a trip to Salt Lake City on 4/12 to visit Utah during Spring ball. As I stated previously there was an announcement made on 4/17. Mickey will be taking his talents to Stanford University once his senior year concludes. I’m extremely happy for Mickey and wish him nothing but the best moving forward!

The eighth linebacker inside the Top 40. Contrastingly, our 2023 rankings had 8 backers inside the top 100 alone. It goes to show just how deep this class is, that an All-State, dominant backer like

sits this “low” on our board. All things considered, this is one of the best soon-to-be seniors in all of the state regardless of position. 4.83 GPA. Had the chance to see him fly to the football against an elite benchmark in Imhotep Charter. His tape against the Champion Panthers is worth leading his junior tape, he came to play. Active on the LOS, carries a lean, muscular build that has him often exploiting blockers who are slow to identify or get to their spots. Incredible gap-closer, closes to the ball carrier as well as any backer in the state. Phenomenal crasher, one who is disciplined and aware, great OLB to have play near the LOS, not every backer can say this. You have less time to react the closer you are to the football, Vaccarello is comfortable here. Pursuit skills are next level. Vision through traffic is next level. Tackling technique is up to par with the best in the state. Vaccarello demonstrates a game that’s tough to poke holes into. There’s a reason his offer list is so long. I’d go on record saying he might be a better prospect than higher-ranked Gompers, Maul, and Bauer. He’s a lock for G5 interest, yet I’m wondering where the P5 interest is currently. Boston College and Syracuse were first to throw their names in the hat, yet I’d argue the likes of Pitt and Maryland should be in on this young man. Top Five LB talent.

is one of the most talented players in the 2025 class. He recently picked up offers from Marshall and Cornell. I expect more offers to come his way. Below is what I wrote about him earlier this year:

played very well at his outside linebacker position. He did a nice job of setting the edge and forcing the play inside or making the tackle. He also showed a good job of blitzing off the edge to get pressure on the quarterback. Then on offense, he played tight end and did a nice job blocking and then caught a screen pass for a big play. Mickey a Junior is a talented player”.

is one of the key reasons why. He was all over the field from his linebacker position. He is a good tackler and does a nice job running sideline-to-sideline to make tackles. An impressive prospect who constantly makes plays all over the field.

Vaccarello, a top-notch player with a junior blue-chip status, has garnered offers from Syracuse, Boston College, Miami (OH), and Duquesne. His impressive build at 6’4 and 210 lbs is matched by agility in space and a relentless motor in run support. A consistent tackler, Vaccarello excels in run/pass reads and displays impressive zone-dropping skills. His hand violence and sideline-to-sideline mentality pose challenges for opposing offenses.

Mickey is an impressive 6’4, 210-pound FBS recruit. He’s good playing off of linemen, and his strength has been continually increasing. Mickey sets the edge well and doesn’t allow plays to stretch outside him in the run game. He’s a good blitzer from OLB depth or coming off the edge. His zone drops are good, and he does an adequate job defending his area before reacting to the play. He’s got the speed and physicality to go along with his A1 motor. Mickey will be a big contributor on special teams collegiately on day one on the D1 level. Vaccarello has two D1 offers from power 5 FBS Boston College and FCS Duquesne currently.

I recently posted about Vaccarello picking up his first D1 opportunity from Duquesne. Now, I’m back to report that Mickey V has received his first FBS offer from Power 5 school, Boston College! Although we are at the halfway point of the summer, there is still plenty of time for Mickey to receive a few more offers.
