Jr is an extremely explosive prospect out of Laurel Highlands. The 2025 prospect is 6’1 | 170 lbs. He can move and the 4.4 forty-yard dash backs it up! Delaware offered Black on 3/11, and he was offered by Marshall, Bowling Green, Syracuse, and Boston College earlier this off-season. I do expect more programs to take notice of Antwan before the season starts. He is a top prospect in the WPIAL, and he is due for a huge Senior Season!

Antwan was selected to Prep Redzone’s Preseason 3rd team All-State for Pennsylvania. Antwan is a silky-smooth athlete that’s very formidable at either wide receiver or defensive back. The junior prospect had 2 touchdown receptions and a nice 78-yard pick-6 against Uniontown in Week 0. Black is also a very dangerous return man that BV will likely kick away from. I’ll be watching the matchup between Black and CB Anthony Crews Anthony Crews 5'10" | 170 lbs | ATH Belle Vernon Area | 2025 State PA in this contest closely. Antwan has FBS offers from Penn State, West Virginia, Pitt, and Toledo currently.

places this high because of upside, we probably haven’t seen the best of this kid and Power Five programs are keying in on him now.
6’1, 170
3.0 GPA
4.4 SR 40 time
five-minute tape, utilized at RB, outside corner, split out wide at receiver.
Can be used as a traditional X, yet Laurel Highlands love to get creative with his pre-snap alignments.
Personally project him to the defensive side of the football, DB or S, because of his length and instincts at the position.
currently holds offers out of Pitt, Penn State, West Virginia, and Toledo.

I wanted to stamp this kid as a Power Five lock last January, yet I second-guessed myself and placed him at a modest top 125. Since doing so, prestigious schools have gone to validate how wrong I was on the awesome two-way prospect out of Laurel Highlands. The prestigious programs being Penn State, Pitt, and Toledo. Those schools have already extended offers to the sophomore, giving me the go-ahead to place him inside the top 25 at the very least. I wish I stuck with my gut when evaluating this kid, yet I missed. His ranking on the site will reflect accordingly in July. Expect Marshall, Miami (OH), and other programs to extend offers before the season begins.

Penn State’s recruiting staff has already stamped that this young man should already place inside the top 100. He was close to that notion before Penn State offered the Laurel Highlands ATH. I usually am a wait-and-see scout, yet the nod from the BIG10 powerhouse is enough of a reason for us to move this kid into the top 75 at the very least. Excited to see what his junior tape will provide. I’m enamored with Black’s abilities at corner. Most know that I value exceptional DB play higher than most other positions.
