I faced being stuck behind a good running back in the depth chart, but I adapted and overcame the problem.

What type of college are you looking for?

I would rather play at a bigger school with a nice campus, but I will go anywhere that feels like home.

His top performance was rewarded with a rare rising junior D2 scholarship offer from the host Falcons after the camp. Gurriere is a stocky athlete with explosive capability that he first displayed during bag drills in the indy period. He has a powerful lower body that allows him to move fluidly with very good quickness.

Gio Guerriere is a good running back and athlete who has excellent film. His ability to make defenders miss is special. He has a good burst and runs hard, which makes him difficult to get tackled. So, it was great to see him get his 1st offer from Fairmont State. That is a great 1st offer for Guerriere and should have him excited, but with a strong Junior year, he should get on the radar of other programs as well.

On offense, he plays as a running back, and he is a playmaker. He is the type of player that can score anytime he touches the ball. He has good speed and can take a handoff and race to the end zone. I also liked the way Laurel Highlands used him in the passing game. They threw the ball in space and he caught the ball well and made defenders miss in space. Then, on defense, he is a dynamic defensive back that has good coverage skills. Guerriere is a good player on both sides of the ball for Laurel Highlands.
