Colleges are getting into full swing with camp/recruiting season, and guess what- they’ll have their eyes on 2025s in the coming months. This is the time of year when you can receive a scholarship offer by showing up to a random camp and balling out. That being said, here are my five most anticipated Senior QBs heading into the 2024 recruiting season!
Aspen is entering his Senior season and his third school. He started out at DeWitt, then Jackson, and now, it’s Grand Ledge. I’ve always loved the talent and measurables with Aspen. He’s got a rocket for an arm and the size to be a highly recruited quarterback. The only big knocks I’ve heard about Aspen have nothing to do with his physical talent. At Grand Ledge, interested colleges across the Midwest will finally get to see Aspen at his best in an offense that will let him off the leash. I also hope to see Aspen sometime this offseason.

This is, without a doubt, the most important offseason for Jonathan Pittman Jonathan Pittman 6’1″ | 205 lbs | QB Mona Shores | 2025 State MI . I feel like a broken record because I’ve talked about Jonathan several times in the past year, and nothing much has changed in my evaluation; he’s a Quarterback with phenomenal arm talent and size but needs to become smarter and more decisive with his passing. Jonathan can compete jump-ball go routes to Micah Carefelle Micah Carefelle 5’10” | 185 lbs | WR Mona Shores | 2025 State MI all day, but this offseason, I need to see accuracy improvements for the entire route tree. If he’s able to show improvements, he should 100% get a GLIAC opportunity.
The 2024 Senior Class for Mason is incredible. Next season, I still expect Mason to be good, but not as good as they have been in these past few seasons. That’s where Cason comes into play. He’s got the accuracy, IQ, and patience to be a great college quarterback. His mechanics could use some work, but as I’ve heard a coach say, “It doesn’t matter. He’s still a star.”
Cason has undoubtably improved over the past few seasons. It may be difficult to fully showcase his improvements this fall with the young offense set to the field. That said, this offseason is extremely important for Cason. My gut still says he’s an eventual Division 3 Quarterback, and I’d be surprised if he doesn’t receive D3 offers this Summer.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: I LOVE Brody’s Junior season tape. Brody is incredibly productive in Caledonia’s offensive scheme, and he can truly make any throw that’s asked of him. The scheme also allows Brody to use his legs quite a bit, and he’s proven to be a mobile QB who can gain some tough yards when needed.
With a productive offseason, Brody could start receiving GLIAC attention. He’s also someone I would love to see again in person. I’d love to see him improve with upper-level QB skills such as elite accuracy and timing.

I am shocked by the lack of college interest I’ve seen in McKale McDowell McKale McDowell 5’10” | 165 lbs | QB River Rouge | 2025 State MI . Last season against Belleville, I watched as McKale went to war and nearly led the team to victory against a top-25 program in the country. McKale has the legs to be a true dual-threat at the next level, he has the leadership to lead a team, and he has good enough accuracy and arm talent to make just about any throw. I also remember being very coachable and putting in great work at Legacy. At this point, he should not count D2 out, but I still believe in his Division 1 upside.
