This is the time that we see the biggest wave of recruitment/offers. When student athletes are able to get in front of coaches to show off the traits that set them apart from their peers. Traits that college coaches desire to have on their team. With those dominant efforts and relationships being built come offers. Sure we have seen the best of the best already earning FBS offers, but for that next tier of athlete the summer leading into their senior season is where the hard work really starts to come to fruition. We are only a couple weeks away from the season starting with the PRZ WI Showcase, so don’t miss out on that opportunity for great coverage. Leading into the summer we are going to try and answer the big question. Who is going to show up to these summer camps and turn heads? We have the answers right here! Enjoy!
This kid is a special prospect in this Class and he has a strong argument for being the most slept on. I have a feeling we see that change early this summer. He checks too many boxes for the offers to not start coming in.
When you sit back and ask what is going to grab the attention at these camps you can throw out so many answers for Kevin. First off, he has the 6’6″ 285 lb frame that is required to play in the trenches at a high level of college football. Second, we see the on field traits on tape. He has a quick first step. The hands are active and strong. We see a high motor. Despite being bigger than basically every opponent he is still able to get leverage with his flexible hips, knees, and ankles. On top of it all, we recently see that he ran the 4X1 for Oak Creek and didn’t look out of place at 6’6″ 285 lbs. Kevin is a smooth athlete with the power, size, and motor needed to be a difference maker at the next level. I’m hoping I cross paths with him at camps this spring/summer so I can watch him in person.
This article contains several athletes who I an expecting to put up eye popping testing numbers. One of those athletes in particular is the Catholic Memorial two way standout, Marvanous Butler- Brown Marvanous Butler- Brown 5’9″ | 170 lbs | ATH Catholic Memorial | 2025 State WI . The 5’9″ 170 lbs DB/WR plays like a gifted athlete. The speed instantly jumps off the tape. Especially at WR where they get the ball to him in space and let him simply outrun the field. Whether it be end arounds, quick passes, or let him get behind the defense on deep shots. Marvanous also has very soft hands that reeled in some impressive catches on the sideline and through contact in 2023. The speed is verified already too, and I can’t wait for him to show it at these camps. In his most recent track meet the speedster broke 11 in the 100M with a time of 10.89 and bringing home first place.
On top of the exceptional speed, the junior is also explosive in short areas. That is key to his route running, being able to burst out of breaks. It also makes him very dangerous with his lateral cuts/jukes when he has to make DBs miss in space.
On defense that speed flashes every play as he is able to read and cover so much ground. That leads to a lot of PBUs and INTs off jumped routes. Marvanous is going to prove to be an explosive athlete this summer.
Another skill player that is going to prove he plays the game at a different speed than the rest of the field is West De Pere’s Ben Lemirand Ben Lemirand 6’0″ | 170 lbs | WR West De Pere | 2025 State WI . The WR has the tape showing he is a matchup nightmare at the HS level. Ben is so quick off the line, getting on top of CBs right at the snap. That instantly puts the pressure on the defender trying to react to a route break or trying to turn and run with him. The explosive burst isn’t just at the line. We see it when he goes up and gets it at the high point over DBs as well.
The 6′ 170 lbs WR could really turn heads when he again verifies the 4.54 40 speed and 10.69 100M speed. Ben brings a trait to the field you can’t coach into an athlete. I’m excited for his camp season.

I have a strong feeling Cooper is set for a monster summer. The tape is there. The production is there. Most importantly, the athleticism and positional traits are loaded. The highlight tape does a great job of highlighting those special traits. Cooper is so explosive. Whether getting off the line, getting out of a break in his route, or shaking a DB after the catch Cooper is able to be so sudden with his movements. His acceleration gets him to top speed so quickly. A speed that most DBs at this level can’t run with. The athleticism helps White become such an effective route runner and win the fight for the ball in traffic.
The offseason work has been going in too. To put some numbers to his explosive traits that will turn heads this summer is his 41.8″ vertical. He also did an insane 35.2″ vertical while holding 20 lbs dumbbells. Add that short area dominance to 4.55 speed and you have a kid who is going to tear up the camp circuit as a tester and in the field work. Get ready for this dude.

Another impressive big man in the trenches who is sure to go off at camps this summer is Greendale’s Pierce Weber Pierce Weber 6’7″ | 285 lbs | OL Greendale | 2025 State WI . When we first came across Pierce he was playing DL. Over this past year we have seen the 6’7″ 285 lbs man focus more on the OL and the early returns are exciting. Weber is a very raw prospect, but the talent speaks for itself and is going to show itself this summer at camps. Weber has been working this offseason too, putting out clips showing much improved lower body flexibility so he can play lower and get that leverage advantage. The junior tape shows that the power is there from his feet to his hands. It will be very intriguing to see the strides he has made since the season ended. He could be a huge riser this summer. The big man is starting things off at the Prep Redzone Wisconsin Camp on the 21st of this month. I can’t wait to see him work in person.

Reggie is going to show up a whole new athlete at camps this summer. When we updated rankings last summer right before the season Reggie was 6’1″ 235 lbs. During our last update he made the huge jump up to 260 lbs. A month later now I see he is 270 lbs. Between that huge size jump and the tape he put out this fall we could be seeing an athlete who is going to turn a lot of heads and surprise people. The big man runs an insane 4.79 40 yard dash. If he can get close to that at his current size this summer he is going to have a lot of fans.
What is more impressive, and useful on the field, is the quick twitch and explosive power he plays with. Reggie is great off the ball. He bursts out of his stance with quickness and power. That allows him to slip through gaps or force his way through if the OL was somehow able to get in front of him. Kloehn is also a high motor player that will make the play outside the pocket. I hope we can see Reggie in some padded camps so he can really show off his full bag of talents. I know there are options, like the UW- Eau Claire Big Man Camp. Make sure you have this kid on your radars.
We end with one of my new favorites in this Class. Jacob is a powerful 6’2″ 215 lbs TE, but ATH may be a better category for him because he is such an impressive athlete that I don’t really want to put him in one spot. Jacob is fresh off an indoor track State Championship in the long jump with a jump of 22’11”. That performance does a great job showing the type of powerful burst he plays with on the football field. Burst that flashes out of his breaks. That burst pairs with impressive balance allowing him to be a surprisingly smooth and effective route runner. Jacob’s explosive power shows up in the run game too. We see him demolish LBs with powerful blocks, and he is a punishing runner after the catch. The amount of natural power and athleticism he has in his skill set is going to get him attention. Check out the tape of a kid who is sure to rise these rankings and recruiting boards around the Midwest.
