Philip Roll
Philip Roll played both offensive and defensive line last year for Upper Dublin. At both positions, he has a good combination of strength and excellent fundamentals. At defensive line, he is a leverage monster who always is a low man and then uses his strength to control offensive lineman. He rarely gets blown off the ball. As an offensive lineman, he shows a good ability to block defensive linemen by again using his strength and his leverage. He has excellent fundamentals on both sides of the ball with his stance and starts both excellent. Roll is a very good prospect and a name to follow going forward.
Jelani Fedrick Jelani Fedrick 5’10” | 160 lbs | ATH Freedom | 2025 State PA is a good athlete who played as a defensive back and as a wide receiver for Freedom last year. As a defensive back, he shows good coverage skills. He does a nice job locking down wide receivers in coverage. Then when the ball is thrown his way, he has good ball skills to break up passes. As a wide receiver, he shows a good ability to make defenders miss after a catch. He runs excellent routes and catches the ball well in traffic. Fedrick is a talented prospect who should be an even bigger contributor next season for Freedom.
Jack Penzone Jack Penzone 5’7″ | 155 lbs | ATH Sun Valley | 2025 State PA is a good athlete who played cornerback and slot wide receiver last year for Sun Valley. At cornerback, he shows good coverage skills. Penzone also showed good run support by coming upfield to make tackles in the open field. At slot receiver, Penzone is a weapon. He is used in the run game on jet sweeps, and other handoffs. He is also used in the passing game on bubble screens and other short passes. When he gets the ball in his hands, he shows good speed and elusiveness to make defenders miss. Penzone shows good traits on offense and defense.
Highlights
Elijah Jones Elijah Jones 6’1″ | 210 lbs | DL Sun Valley | 2025 State PA is a good athlete playing defensive end. He just explodes off the edge and makes plays all over the field. He either chases the play down the line of scrimmage or makes plays in or near his gap. He is really good as a pass rusher when he just attacks the offensive tackles and forces the issue. Jones is also a physical tackler that offensive ball carriers feel his hits. Jones is a talented player who should get some College Football looks coming his way.
Chris Ulmer Chris Ulmer 6’3″ | 220 lbs | LB Lansdale Catholic | 2025 State PA is a dynamic playmaker at linebacker. Landsdale Catholic used him a lot of times as the 5th Blitzer. He is good at blitzing and finding the opening to pressure the quarterback. He has such good pass-rushing skills that it would not surprise me if he could play as a defensive end as well. Ulmer is also good at running sideline-to-sideline to make plays all over the field. He has good tackling ability as well and rarely misses a tackle. Ulmer is a complete linebacker. Ulmer recently visited Delaware. His recruiting should pick up more in the spring.
Highlights
Xair Stevenson Xair Stevenson 6’3″ | 180 lbs | ATH USO | 2025 State PA played mostly middle linebacker last year but shows the athleticism to play anywhere on the field. Stevenson has legit speed and athletic ability. You do not see many 6’3″ athletes move as fast as he does. He has a different gear for speed and athleticism. At linebacker, he shows a great ability to attack the offense. Either by blitzing or running around and making tackles all over the field. He projects as a defensive back or a wide receiver in college. He recently picked up offers from Miami and Marshall. I expect more offers to come his way.
