Continue ReadingEdwards isn’t just an elite quarterback he’s an elite athlete. He pushed his way on the field as a freshman because of his high-end athleticism. Not only did Kayden see time at quarterback, but he also saw time at cornerback and on special teams as a returner. All of that being said Edwards highest ceiling is as a big-time quarterback prospect. Even as a freshman he shows the ability to win from the pocket and out of structure. He has a good feel and accuracy on the short timing throws. He has the ability to drive the ball down the field into windows. Kayden has the ability to use his athleticism to extend plays and move the pocket as he’s comfortable throwing on the run. He currently holds a handful of G5 offers and a P4 offer from West Virginia. I expect that P4 list to grow this offseason.
I had a chance to Tyce at our Stock Up Showcase in January. He had a really nice day. He showed good feet and the ability to throw on the run. In the 1v1 portion of the event he was on point on every throw I saw him make. He has the arm strength and accuracy to throw into windows. Whiteman has a good frame that he should easily be able to continue to add good weight too. I’m excited to Tyce continue to develop and where his future takes him.

Ternosky is a versatile quarterback who’s very sound fundamentally. He’s comfortable executing the zone run. When he pulls it he has the athleticism and speed to take it to the house. In the pass game flashes the arm talent to make tough throws. He does a good job of executing his ball fakes. He has the arm strength to really let it rip. He also shows the finesse to make the touch throws. David should start to put himself on the college radar this offseason and next fall.

Don’t let Patterson’s slight frame fool you. He can rip it. Mandwel has the ability to throw to all 3 levels. He has the arm strength and accuracy to throw a nice deep ball. He has the quick release and velocity to throw slants and timing routes and that can move the ball in the intermediate game. As he continues to develop physically and get stronger, I can’t wait to see how his game continues to evolve and improve. The future is really bright for Patterson.

Day is another player that I had a chance to see up close at our Stock Up Showcase in January. I was excited to see him throw live because what he put on film as a freshman was impressive. RJ showed the ability to throw into tight windows in both the second and third levels. Sometimes younger quarterbacks will shy away from those throws for fear of throwing an interception. Day is fearless in the pocket. He’s unafraid of standing in and delivering the ball in the face of a rush and knowing he’s going to take a hit. His velocity on his throws looked even better in person than what he put on film. RJ is a tireless worker who has a really bright future. Day already has offers from Boston College and Marshall. He should continue to add to those offers this summer.
