I was not familiar with Tyce at all heading into this event, but it took no time at all to see why Whiteman is ranked so highly in the state of Ohio. Especially on Sunday, he was incredibly impressive, even in a losing effort in the championship game.
Tyce is not afraid to take shots deep and push the ball vertically. Though he was good in the short and intermediate game, he was a standout performer on the balls 20+ yards downfield. He has great touch on the ball and knows where to place it. The ball leaves his hand nicely with a tight, catchable spiral. It took an absolutely buzzsaw of a team to stop Tyce and his squad, but his performance was undoubtedly one of the best all around performances of the weekend.

is someone who can put together an outstanding 2025 season. After a shocking miss at the 2024 playoffs, expect Sheridan to come back and come back hard behind Tyce’s play. He has great straight-line ball velocity. His arm shines in the short and intermediate aspects of the game. He has good body torque and gets his hips going in his throwing motion. The ball comes out of his hand high and powerful to complete his motion. He isn’t the best athlete in terms of changing direction, but his length gives him big strides and the ability to cover rushing ground quickly. Big things are in his future, and I will be excited to watch what he can do with Sheridan this coming season.

Big and tall quarterback with a solid arm and good accuracy in the short/intermediate game. More of a traditional pocket passer, not a dual threat, but can sling it. Still improving. Holds an early Morehead State offer.

I had a chance to Tyce at our Stock Up Showcase in January. He had a really nice day. He showed good feet and the ability to throw on the run. In the 1v1 portion of the event he was on point on every throw I saw him make. He has the arm strength and accuracy to throw into windows. Whiteman has a good frame that he should easily be able to continue to add good weight too. I’m excited to Tyce continue to develop and where his future takes him.

If the offense you’re heading up has outscored its opponents 266-0 in the first four games of the season, you’re probably doing something right. Whiteman, a 6-foot, 165-pound Quarterback is at the helm of a hurry-up offense and has thrown for 30 touchdown passes in those four extremely lopsided contests. Read that again. Those stats, coupled with his leadership, are why the recruiting process is already heating up a bit for Whiteman. Having visited Georgia Tech this summer, he’s set to visit Oklahoma and potentially others this season. He’s a big strong kid who hasn’t met a weight room he doesn’t like and the results of his work ethic speak for themselves. I’m a big fan of his toughness and overall mentality towards the game. A hardhat and lunchpail type of kid that does whatever is needed to win.
