2025 WR Dominic Woods (Perrysburg) 5’11 170- Woods (pictured above) got out of the gates early running a 4.44 40-yard dash. He followed that up with a 10’3 broad job. He’s explosive getting out of his stance and he’s a fluid runner. Those traits translate for Woods. He used explosive breaks and that speed to create separation versus backs in the one v one’s. With a good summer I could see him start to get some D1 interest.
2027 Tyce Whiteman Tyce Whiteman 6'3" | 185 lbs | QB Sheridan | 2027 State OH (Sheridan) 6’2 185- Tyce’s throws were on point all day long. He has quiet confidence that emanated through his play. Whiteman has a compact delivery and gets the ball out quickly. He showed the ability to make the timing throws as well as the deep throws. As a freshman there’s a lot of room for continued growth and development. I’m excited to see what the future holds.
2025 RB Ayden McKinstry (Grove City) 6’0 180- McKinstry is a good looking back with a frame that can add more weight. He showed good feet in the bag drills. Ayden also did a great job running routes and getting good short space with explosive breaks. He looks ready to have a big college camp season.
2024 LB Darrell Owens (Glenville) 6’2 225- Owens is a physical presence. He has a college ready frame now. He played on the outside for Glenville’s state championship football team. He has the size and strength to be a physical presence in the run game. What I was really impressed with today was his ability to cover. He has good hips and does a good job of breaking on the ball. He’s a player that I think could play at the D2 level.
2027 WR David Fields David Fields 5'10" | 145 lbs | WR Cincinnati Country Day | 2027 State OH (Cincinnati Country Day) 5’9 135- He may have been one of the youngest athletes at the showcase, but that didn’t stop him from having one of the most impressive days of any of the receivers. He was borderline undefendable at times. He has a great feel for route running for a freshman, and the explosiveness to create monster separation. He can stop and go on a dime. He’s a fluid hands catcher when the ball is in the air. As Fields continue to develop physically, he has a chance to take his game to even another level.
