2027 Rankings Release: WR/TE

After already covering the 2025 and 2026 classes, we have now officially released our initial Top 75 rankings for the class of 2027. With that being said, I will be taking the next week or so to break down these rankings by position. After already covering the quarterbacks and running backs, here are our top pass catchers in the class of 2027 in the state of Kentucky.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["1200560"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='1200560' first='Demond' last='Green'] established himself as one of the top overall players in his class with an impressive freshman season. Green finished this past season with 22 receptions for 341 yards and three touchdowns in 14 games. Demond has blazing speed which he uses to blow by opposing defensive backs in the deep passing game. He is also dangerous after the catch, showing the ability to turn short passes into big gains at any given moment. Green also played a key role on special teams, returning two kickoffs for touchdowns this past season. Fryman finished the year with 47 catches for 1,052 yards and 10 touchdowns in 14 games. He lined up mainly in the slot where he was very dangerous after the catch, showing the speed and elusiveness to turn short passes into big gains. Fryman also played a role out of the backfield as a ball carrier, running the ball 18 times for 191 yards and seven touchdowns this past season. He also came away with three interceptions on defense. He finished this past season with 27 receptions for 603 yards and six touchdowns in 10 games. Weaver lines up mainly in the slot where he uses his quick release to create separation from opposing defensive backs. After the catch, he has shown the speed to run away from the defense on his way to the end zone. Weaver also finished this past season with two rushing touchdowns. He finished this past season with 46 receptions for 401 yards and four touchdowns in 12 games. Carlo is very dangerous with the ball in his hands, using his speed and elusiveness in the open field to turn short passes/screens into big plays at any given moment. He is also an impressive route runner, using smooth breaks in his routes to create separation. Chicko also came away with one interception on defense this past season. Rashad only played in six games this past season but was productive when on the field, catching 10 passes for 237 yards and three touchdowns. He has a high catch radius, using his athleticism to go up and catch the ball at its highest point, which makes him very reliable in jump ball situations. High has also shown the speed to blow by opposing defensive backs in the deep passing game. He played a key role in the Boyle County passing game this past season, catching six passes for 103 yards and two touchdowns in 12 games. Hager has the speed to stretch the field in the deep passing game. He also has a high catch radius which makes him a very reliable target in contested catch situations.
