is a player who has been on our radar for a while now and continued to impress this past season. Chicko finished his sophomore year with 46 receptions for 593 yards and seven touchdowns in 11 games. Carlo is a dangerous deep threat on the outside, using his speed to create separation with ease. He is also a very reliable jump ball/contested catch target, using his athleticism to go up and attack the ball at its highest point along with his strong hands to bring in the catch through contact. Chicko also played a role on defense, finishing the year with 64 tackles and two sacks. Carlo doesn’t currently hold any offers but he is a player to continue to keep an eye on over the next couple seasons.

is a player who has been on our radar for a while now and is off to a strong start to his sophomore year. Lawrence County hasn’t posted their Week 2 stats yet but Chicko was very impressive in their opening game, catching five passes for 102 yards and two touchdowns. Chicko is a dangerous deep threat, using his speed to blow by opposing defensive backs in the deep passing game. After the catch, he has the speed and elusiveness to pick up extra yards with ease. Carlo doesn’t currently hold any offers but he should be a player to watch this season.

, a wide receiver at Lawrence County High School. Chicko impresses me with his ability to quickly get open for the short pass and push the offense into enemy territory with his ability to execute after the catch. I also like how Chicko can create seperation in the backfield, haul in the deep pass and pick up speed to push into the house for the score.

is another wide receiver that had a strong freshman season. He finished this past season with 46 receptions for 401 yards and four touchdowns in 12 games. Carlo is very dangerous with the ball in his hands, using his speed and elusiveness in the open field to turn short passes/screens into big plays at any given moment. He is also an impressive route runner, using smooth breaks in his routes to create separation. Chicko also came away with one interception on defense this past season. Carlo doesn’t currently hold any offers but is a player to keep an eye on as he continues to develop.

Carlo is an exciting wide receiver prospect coming out of Louisa, Kentucky. Carlo excels at creating his own yards after the catch. As a receiver, it is crucial to find ways to get open, so it is easier for the QB to make a throw to you. Not only does Carlo effectively do this with his fantastic lateral route running, but what really shines is his ability to gain extra yards once he completes the catch. After Carlo receives the football, his quick & shifty footwork allows him to quickly juke past incoming defenders and use his fast acceleration to speed past them. Furthermore, Chiko can take a few hits before he gets fully tackled onto the ground. Carlo is a great prospect to keep watch as he will soon develop into one of the more elite receivers in his state receiver class.

Every great Quarterback knows they need a Wide Receiver that acts like that random drawer in the kitchen. Don’t know where to put something (the ball)? Throw it in the drawer. Need to get rid of it (the ball) quickly? Throw in the drawer. Need to put it (the ball) somewhere that you’ll always be able to find it with ease? Throw it in the drawer. Much like “the drawer” I’m talking about, Chiko is a catch-all. The 5-foot-10, 175-pounds Wide Receiver is a reliable target that Quarterbacks know they can depend on when they get in a pinch. He’s not the biggest, not the fastest, not the most skilled, but he seems to always come in the clutch when you need him. Kind of like that spare set of keys you need to find in the most inopportune time, rely on the catch-all. Expect a big year out of him at Lawrence County.
