In total, he’s caught 13 passes for 330 yards and three scores so far in 2026. Cecil is a multi-sport athlete who helped GRC win a state championship in basketball last season. He also plays baseball and runs track & field. His basketball background aids Cecil when trying to high-point the football over awaiting defenders, as he can rise with some of the taller defensive backs in the state. I expect him to continue these performances throughout the season.

Cecil has a great hesitation move that helps him create space from pressing DBs. He’s able to turn on the afterburners once he has the ball in his hands, like a second wind once he tucks the ball and turns upfield. His height and leaping ability make him a wonderful option in contest catch situations, always giving his offense a chance to move the sticks. Cecil has also proven to be a good blocker on the outside.
