Continue ReadingBlatt is one of my favorite prospects that isn’t currently offered. His play recognition is off the charts. I think that trait comes from his quarterback background. He puts pressure on the opposing QB consistently. Whether that be coming off the edge with his speed, or blitzing from a true LB position. His speed also allows him to cover well in coverage. At 6’4 | 215 he has everything you need to be productive at the next level.
Here’s what our NE Regional Scouting Director Vic Castillo Vic Castillo RB PA had to say about him this time last year.rn
Ashton Blatt , along with others in this piece, served as a priority to get my eyes on at this event. He, as well as Colsen Gatten Colsen Gatten 6’1″ | 210 lbs | ATH Pittsburgh Central Catholic | 2026 State PA , placed very high along our initial freshman rankings that debuted in August of last year. Word from coaches I know out West have pounded the table for the kid, I had to get out there and see the kid work for my own eyes. Watching Blatt was a focal point of my trip to West Virginia, the kid carries an awesome build for a myriad of positions, said build looked good in person. Blatt’s lack of tape would have had him off the rankings entirely, yet seeing him throw darts across the field against great DBs and LBs helped his cause to not only stay on the rankings but stay inside the top 50. After seeing him work different levels of the field, after seeing how live his arm can be, especially when targetting weapons 20+ yards downfield, I feel much more comfortable talking about Blatt as one of the better Freshman prospects in the state. Even if Blatt doesn’t stick at quarterback for whatever reason, I still believe his presence will be felt in a significant way next Fall.

I really like this Quarterback prospect out of Peters Township. Nolan has good size at 6’2/195. He has great pocket presence, and the ability to tuck it and run. He has great timing. Making good throws in tight windows. I like when he slings it deep, because of his great touch. He threw for 3,000+ yards this past season along with 33 TD passes. Not to mention his 4.0 GPA. This is a prospect coaches need to get on sooner rather than later.
Our NE Regional Scouting Director Vic Castillo Vic Castillo RB PA recently ranked Nolan Dilucia inside the PRZTop 75. Nearly cracking the top five at his position.

Mr. Fill That Gap. If you want someone who can come downhill to fill a gap here is your guy. Ethan also has good sideline-sideline speed. Making it really hard for opposing teams to get their run game going. He also knows how to get pressure on the QB creating 4 sacks last season. He’s also a productive TE for Central Valley, but I think FCS programs need to get on him as a LB now!
Shearer would rank inside the top 25 if reranked as a pure LB. Vic Castillo Vic Castillo RB PA recently ranked him inside the PRZTop250, was a former standout at camp as well.

Justus Starks Justus Starks 6’1″ | 260 lbs | DL Aliquippa | 2026 State PA is a violent football player. He is extremely disruptive at the DL position. This is a guy who loves to finish plays, and he has all the tools to do so. He reads and reacts to the play, and gets to the ball. You’ll see him force multiple fumbles throughout his tape. He proves his love for putting people on the ground with his offense tape. Where he pancakes people over and over again.
Recently ranked inside the Top 25 at his position, DL being a loaded group. Nearly cracked the Top100 too.
Not quite sure how there isn’t a program with an offer out to Work. This kid lights it up everywhere on the field. He’s a hybrid SS/OLB, and he plays that role well. He has great coverage skills, and lays the boom on anyone in his way. Once someone pulls the trigger on Work, I wouldn’t be surprised if his recruitment blew up.
Vic Castillo Vic Castillo RB PA sees Work as a Top 15 linebacker in his class, likely a D1 grade.
